On the heels of their sold out North American “Stars Stripes and Maple Syrup” tour, Australian band 5SOS released the lyric video for their newest single, “Don’t Stop”. It’s filled with catchy hooks and infectious melodies that are signature for the even the best pop punk songs! The song has us wanting to get up and dance on the subway platform every time we hear it.

The band are wrapping up the “There’s No Place Like Home Tour” in Australia this week. Get your tickets for the last few dates if you haven’t already and grab a copy of their debut EP “She Looks So Perfect” on iTunes and Amazon now.
We first discovered Born Cages after an opening slot at The Studio at Webster Hall back in December of 2013. They quickly won us over with plenty of on stage energy and a sound that could be the lovechild from a whirlwind romance of The Strokes and The Darkness.
“The Sidelines EP”, the bands debut effort, has been getting a lot of buzz, featuring songs like “Caiti” and “Perfect Harmony“. Born Cages recently released a video for the new single, “Don’t Look Back” to high praises from around the industry. Lead singer/guitarist Vlad Holiday shreds his way through every song with ferocity that is only matched by his onstage energy and charisma. The band always connects with the crowd, making sure we’re all singing along and having the most fun!

Fresh off a slew of dates in the Southeast, including Austin’s SXSW Festival, Born Cages are finally back home in NY. Their Tuesday night show packed Bowery Electric full of familiar faces as well as many new fans. It was definitely a warm “welcome home” for the band, who hope to release their first full length album soon!

As we’ve said before, Good Morning America gets all of the important fangirl announcements! This morning, Nick Carter and Jordan Knight stopped by to drop huge news: they recorded an album together, Nick & Knight, and are going on tour this fall!

We’ve seen collabs from within boybands before (such as Jordan Knight’s “Stingy” feat Donnie Wahlberg), but this is the first cross-boyband duo in history. Since NKOTBSB was pretty much the greatest thing that has ever happened in the history of boybands, we are beyond thrilled for Nick & Knight!

The lineup for one of our favorite summer traditions, the “Today” Show Toyota Concert series was revealed today! The schedule includes SecretFangirls.com favorites Austin Mahone, Ed Sheeran and Pharrell.
We’ve seen many great “Today” Show concerts over the years: Big Time Rush, Hilary Duff, Hunter Hayes, Jonas Brothers, New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees, and more. It’s totally possible to squeeze in a quick concert before work/school/etc. Our philosophy? Are you going to look back and think “gee, I’m so glad I was well rested for work that random Summer Friday!” Or “hey, remember that time James from BTR signed my coffee cup at 6am?”

Just not in the way that you might hope. Joe and Kevin Jonas announced today that they will be going on an “Off The Record” tour, which they have described as a “live, interactive show” that will allow them to interact with fans as never before. It sounds a lot like “Storytellers,” just minus the whole music part.
The show will include a Q&A session, never-before-seen videos, and “many other surprises.” If by “surprises” they mean Nick showing up and Jonas Brothers performing “Goodnight & Goodbye,” then we are totally there! But unfortunately Nick will be sitting this one out.
After reading Joe’s tell all in New York Magazine, we can’t wait to see what kind of questions fans will be asking, and hope that Joe will be just as open. (Attention fangirls: this might be called “Off the Record” but be sure to take some videos!)
We had no idea when we saw Jonas Brothers last summer it would be our last Jonas show ever! While we’re disappointed we won’t be seeing a musical reunion, it’s nice to see the brothers make an effort to re-connect with their fans, many of whom were shocked by their sudden split in October 2013.

Following the huge success of their first single, “19 You + Me,” which recently went gold, country duo Dan + Shay revealed that their next single to hit country radio will be “Show You Off!” The track is off their debut album, “Where It All Began,” which has been hanging out at the top of the charts since it was released earlier this month. We love the support we’ve seen for Dan + Shay from artists of all genres – they’re taking over the music world and we can see why! They make us excited about music, and we just want to “show them off” too.
