New Kids On The Block Announce “The Mixtape Tour” For Summer 2019

NKOTB just dropped a HUGE Summer tour announcement for 2019 featuring all of their closest friends like Salt-N-Pepa, Naughty By Nature, Tiffany, and Debbie Gibson!  “The Mixtape Tour” kicks off May 2nd and brings the New Kids across North America all Summer long.

You know NKOTB can’t leave you with just a massive tour announcement!  Donnie, Danny, Jon, Jordan, and Joey also dropped a brand new single called “80’s Baby.”  The lyric video is an homage to all things 80s like 8-bit video games, bamboo earrings, satellite phones, pagers, and of course, mixtapes!

Fan club presales for “The Mixtape Tour” have already started while general on sales begin Friday Oct 12th at 10am local time.  VIP barstools and packages are also available on the official NKOTB site.  Check out all the dates below and make sure you grab your tickets before they sell out!

NKOTB To Release “Thankful” EP on May 12th

2017 is shaping up to be a VERY good year for NKOTB fans!   The Total Package Tour with Boyz II Men & Paula Abdul kicks off this Summer!  Cruise #9 is setting sail in October!  Joey McIntyre has a new TV show!  AND they just released new music for the first time in 4 years!   NKOTB hit “The Late Late Show” with James Corden to premiere the new song, “One More Time.”  They also revealed that the track would be on their upcoming EP, titled “Thankful,” which is due out on May 12th.  (AKA the first date of the Total Package Tour!)

We’re thankful for new music from our favorite boyband, who just get better and better with age.  We can’t wait to see them perform some  of the new tracks on tour!  Listen to “One More Night” now!

New Kids On The Block Announce Cruise #9 In October 2017

ALL ABOARD!!!  NKOTB just announced cruise #9 will be leaving from New Orleans and sailing to Cozumel, Mexico…far far away from your worries this October!  If you thought the last cruises were insane…just wait because we’re sure NKOTB have new tricks up their sleeves to make Cruise #9 a trip you won’t forget.

This is probably the best vacation a fangirl could ask for – 4 days sailing aboard the Carnival Triumph (2 of which you’re completely trapped at sea with NKOTB), concerts on the boat, theme nights, dance parties, meet&greets ON THE BOAT, a day in Cozumel to explore, and so many more surprises that we can’t even imagine!

NKOTB Announce The Total Package Tour with Paula Abdul & Boyz II Men

It’s a known fact among fangirls that NKOTB are notoriously bad at keeping secrets.  Last week when they teased a huge announcement was going to be made on the TODAY show, it took Blockheads about 5 minutes to figure it out.  But if there is anyone worse at keeping a secret, it’s Paula Abdul.  After finishing her set at the Mixtape Festival over the Summer, she quickly told the crowd “I’m going on tour with NKOTB & Boyz II Men next year bye!”  Which left us with so many questions for Paula.  When does it start?  What venues?  When do pre-sales start?

Luckily for us, that day has come!  On the TODAY show this morning, NKOTB officially announced the “Total Package Tour” with Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul will kick off in May in Columbus, OH!   Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, November 19th.  Pre-sales for Blockhead members and Amex cardholders start TOMORROW, Wednesday, November 16th.

NKOTB To Play Coney Island August 4th

In true NKOTB fashion, the guys just dropped some HUGE surpise news on us that got us really excited for summertime (as if we weren’t already!)  Danny, Donnie, Jordan, Jonathan, and Joey announced that they’ll be headlining a very special show at the brand new Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk this August just before Mixtape Festival.  While they had insisted Mixtape would be their only show of the year, they couldn’t resist throwing a “warmup” gig in NYC a couple of days before.   Of course we’re going to both shows!

Like any true Blockhead knows, Coney Island is a special place for NKOTB – it’s where they filmed their first music video for “Please Don’t Go Girl.”   It’s also the home of Wahlburgers, with its rooftop overlooking the Wonder Wheel and the rest of the iconic beach park.

Be sure to get your tickets because this will sell out fast and maybe you’ll get to ride a roller coaster with your favorite New Kid just like in all of your fangirl dreams!   Pre-sales for Block Nation members start on Tuesday, June 7th at 10am.  General tickets are on sale Friday, June 10th!  Beach + Boy Band + Burgers + Roller Coasters .. what more could you ask for in a Summer concert?   And as you know, NKOTB always BRING.  IT.

NKOTB To Headline Mixtape Festival 2016

If you (like us) have been going through NKOTB withdrawl every day since your last show (of 3) of The Main Event Tour, you’re in luck!  NKOTB announced they are coming back to Mixtape Festival in 2016!   This will be their only concert in 2016 as they have no plans to tour this year.  (Which only means we can’t wait to see what they have in store for 2017!)   Mixtape Festival is a blast – the fest is at the beautiful Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA – and features all of your favorite 90s artists.  This year’s performers include Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees, O-Town & more!  It will also mark Paula Abdul’s return to the stage.

Pre-sales for Block Nation members start this Saturday, April 23rd at 10am!  As a BN member, you’ll also have access to a special pre-show, members only event on August 5th.  For FREE!  Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 29th at 10am.  VIP packages will also be available, including meet and greets and after party access.  Head over to MixtapeFestival.com for all the info!

We could all use a little warming up right now, as we’ve been dreaming about being on the beach while we’re piled under a mountain of snow. How about being on the beach with the New Kids on the Block? Sounds like a perfect fangirl getaway to us! NKOTB just announced their 8th annual cruise for 2016 is taking off from New Orleans and heading down to Cozumel, Mexico in October. One of the best things about Summer is the outdoor fairs and carnivals that pop up all over the country.  And what’s a carnival without some great music?  Here are some of our favorite carnival-themed videos!

1. Jordan Knight – “Give It To You”
Our formative years consisted of calling into TRL constantly to vote for this  video. Looking back, we totally made the right decision because this is THE only ‘carnival’ video that matters.

2. Big Time Rush – “Boyfriend”
Learn from James Diamond.  If your bae can’t make it to the carnival, you can always find a nice plant to go on rides with you.

3. Mariah Carey – “Fantasy”
This video is definitely a sweet, sweet fantasy, baby!

4. The Vamps – “Last Night”
We love The Vamps idea for this video: let’s use our entire budget and build ourselves a carnival for the video shoot!  We’d totally do the same.

5. NKOTB – “Please Don’t Go Girl”
With Wahlburgers opening in Coney Island soon, we can only hope the band stops by to re-enact scenes from this video.  Can we ride the Wonder Wheel with Joey?
