We’re still fangirling over the news that 5SOS is releasing their second album, “Sounds Good Feels Good” in October! Pre-orders for the album went up today(8/14) along with the release of a new track, “Fly Away!” We’re also fangirling over the fact that our 5SOS “Rock Out With Your Socks Out” show is (finally) just 3 weeks away! Here are 5 of our favorite 5SOS tracks .
1. “She’s Kinda Hot”
5SOS’s new single is a rock anthem for the generations. We can’t wait to hear this live and ROCK OUT!
2.”Good Girls”
If good girls are bad girls who haven’t been caught, are bad girls good girls who HAVE been caught?
3.”Don’t Stop”
The video for “Don’t Stop” brought out 5SOS’s inner super hero alter-egos but this song makes us feel like dancing like nobody’s around.
4. “Lost Boy” We love the non-cheesy Peter Pan nod in this song!
5. “Social Casualty”
This song all but name drops both Greenday and All Time Low from the lyrics to the music – of course it’s one of our favorites!
Happy Halloween, Fangirls! This week, we’ve been listening to pretty much only Country music but we decided to get into the spirit of Halloween and bring you our favorite Halloween themed music videos.
1. Backstreet Boys – “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”
BSB really went all out and set the standard for Halloween themed music videos. Jekyl & Hyde, a Mummy, a werewolf, the Phantom Of The Opera, and Dracula come together for a choreographed dance filled costume ball of epic proportions. Why are they in costume? Nobody knows. And full disclosure, we still know these dance moves and definitely danced along at the BSB tours.
2. Big Time Rush – “Big Night” The BTR Halloween episode is pretty amazing – we love Kendall as a werewolf, and James the vampire vs the vampire slayer. Throwback to the BSB video?
3. Kristian Bush – “Trailer Hitch”
Zombies have taken over this country star’s new video and the only way to stop them is by the soothing sound of his guitar!
4. 5SOS – “Don’t Stop” Doesn’t everyone want to dress up as their favorite super hero on Halloween? Well, Aussie pop punkers 5SOS just gave you five brand new favorite super heroes.
5. Patent Pending – “Dance Til We Die”
When we said that the Long Islanders in Patent Pending went all out for videos, we weren’t exaggerating. The bands video for “Dance Til We Die” is perfect for any Halloween bash. Gore and zombies take over as the band sings “and the dancing dead are taking over, never gonna make it out!”
We can’t think of a better way to wake up on Monday after a long holiday weekend than with a new 5SOS tour announcement!

If it sounds like an outtake from All Time Low’s album “Dirty Work” that’s because 5SOS have been spending a lot of time with front man Alex Gaskarth writing songs and generally learning how to be punk rock grown ups.

On the heels of their sold out North American “Stars Stripes and Maple Syrup” tour, Australian band 5SOS released the lyric video for their newest single, “Don’t Stop”. It’s filled with catchy hooks and infectious melodies that are signature for the even the best pop punk songs! The song has us wanting to get up and dance on the subway platform every time we hear it.
