The Vamps “Somebody To You” EP Is Out Now!

Great news for fans of The Vamps in America:  the “Somebody To You” EP is out now!

You can pickup a copy on iTunes now!  There are also exclusive versions being sold at Claire’s and Justice stores around the country.  Plus you can buy a special bundle being sold on The Vamps official store!   Since each version has a special track, we say buy as many copies as possible!  We’ve gotten 2 so far.  Plus if the EP does well, The Vamps will finally release their full length album in the US!

The Claire’s version includes their cover of The Beatles’ “Twist and Shout,” which they just released their video for.  Watch it below!  (Can we petition for the band to wear matching suits and ties more often?)

If you’re lucky enough to be going to the Austin Mahone tour this week, there will be limited edition signed copies of the EP and a bracelet at the merch booth!  Check out the dates here.

Austin Mahone Releases “Shawty Shawty”

We’re so glad that Austin has finally released a studio version of our jam “Shawty Shawty,” which was the very first song he ever recorded in Miami – nearly 3 years ago!   We love everything about this song: from the Mariah Carey sample in the beginning of the track to Austin’s sweet dance moves in the chorus. (We’ve got this one nailed – getting ready to see him on tour later this month!)  Check out all of Austin’s upcoming tour dates HERE.

Hunter Hayes Releases “Tattoo” Video!

After teasing us with short previews the last couple of weeks, Hunter finally released the video for his new single, “Tattoo!”   This is by far one of our favorite songs of the summer, from his new album, “Storyline.”   Watch the video below!

You can see Hunter Hayes in New York on the Today Show August 22nd, and at the US Open Arthur Ashe Kids Day August 23rd!

Nick Jonas Releases New Single, “Chains,” Signs With Island Records

We’d be totally lying if we said we weren’t still confused by the Jonas Brothers breakup, but we have moved on to the “acceptance” phase of this traumatic event.  We hoped that Nick and Joe would at least still work on their solo music post-breakup.  Nick Jonas & The Administration is one of our favorite under-appreciated albums of all time (if you’re commanding Prince’s band at the age of 17…nothing but respect).  And as great as “Love Slayer” was, we’re still hoping to hear some of the “weird music he wrote with Robert Schwartzman” that Joe mentioned in his NY Magazine tell-all.

We’re thrilled that Nick Jonas has signed to Island Records and released his first post-breakup single as a solo artist!  Nick J really is off the chain in this new single. Listen to the track, “Chains,” below!

It’s definitely a departure from his work with the Administration, but it sounds a lot like the Jonas Brothers tracks we heard off of their unreleased album, “V,” on tour last summer.   By the way, we love how Nick just dropped his single.  No months of hype, no constant tweeting of the word “soon.”  Just music.

The Vamps Perform “Somebody To You” On The TODAY Show

In case you were still sleeping from the previous couple days of trying to find foreign boys in bands around NYC, The Vamps performed on The Today Show and absolutely smashed it!  The guys gave it their all this morning and here’s hoping the rest of America learns about The Vamps before the Austin Mahone tour which begins tomorrow!

5SOS Rock The Today Show!

Tuesday was an awesome day to be a 5SOS fan:  the Aussie band’s debut album FINALLY got released in the US!   AND they had a rockin’ performance on The Today Show!  Ashton, Michael, Luke, and Calum were full of energy and they definitely showed the Today Show that they’re not just a teen sensation – they are talented musicians.  Rockefeller Center was packed with 5SOS fans in one of the largests Today Show crowds we’ve ever seen!  Someone even brought out a giant Will Smith face for the occasion that didn’t go unnoticed by the guys.

5 Seconds Of Summer performed three fan favorites on the TODAY Show!  Watch the videos for each below!

The band’s US album debut is something that is going to bring back the pop-punk to the youth of America.  It’s exactly the right blend of  Maryland’s own All Time Low and Good Charlotte, and the UK’s McFly and Busted.

If you’re reading this, you probably don’t need to be reminded but you can get 5SOS’s debut album on iTunes now!  Or head to Target and get their exclusive edition in your favorite color (Or all 4.  We don’t judge).

Nick and Knight Premiere “One More Time!”

This news still sounds almost too good to be true:  As we told you back in April, Nick Carter and Jordan Knight are teaming up for a joint album and tour this fall.  Nick & Knight just released the lead single from the album, which is due out September 2nd.   Listen to “One More Time” below!  And just remember that this is Nick Carter and Jordan Knight SINGING A DUET.

Tickets to the tour are on sale now, and trust us, you don’t want to miss this one!  Based on our professional fangirl opinion, Nick and Jordan are the ones that consistently BRING IT each night on stage.   They add their own flair to the choreography, and aren’t afraid to get down and move it all around.  And we can’t wait to see what will happen on stage when they team up!

Austin Mahone Debuts New Track “Say My Name”

Austin Mahone surprised his fans by posting a previously unreleased song called “Say My Name” to his Twitter account yesterday.  Listen to the audio below!

Austin has been busy with rehearsals for his headlining tour, which kicks off on July 25th in San Antonio!  Check out all the dates here and pickup a copy of “The Secret” EP on iTunes now!

He also had a private show last week in NYC for some lucky fans at the P.C. Richard & Son / iHeartRadio Theater.  Watch his performance of “Next To You” below!

Dan + Shay “Show You Off” In New Music Video

When it comes to interacting with fans, Dan + Shay are one of the best artists out there.  So when it came time to release the video for their new single, “Show You Off,” they asked their fans to tweet, tumblr and share the news in order to unlock it.  While they originally had a goal of 2 days, their loyal fans unlocked the video in around an hour!  Check it out below!

The video shows off their fans and what life is like on the road  for the busy duo, who have been on tour with Hunter Hayes and Blake Shelton this year.  They even feature fans speaking about what make Dan + Shay so special to them.  (We totally agree with all of you!)  From staying hours after every show doing signings, to constant interaction on Twitter, the guys totally get that it’s the little things that can make a fan’s day.

Dan + Shay are going on their first headlining tour this fall across the US, including a stop in NYC!  The Where It All Began Tour is on sale now!  And if you haven’t gotten a copy of our favorite album of the year, what are you waiting for?   Get “Where It All Began” on iTunes now!

Heffron Drive Releases Orchestral Version of “Parallel”

In case you were out watching fireworks in person and not on TV, you might have missed Heffron Drive’s performance at A Capitol Fourth, from Washington DC.  Bandmates Kendall Schmidt and Dustin Belt performed their new single “Parallel” with The National Symphony Orchestra, in a special orchestral arrangement.  Watch their performance below!
