Major fangirling is happening in the office this morning because Selena Gomez just released new music!  “The Heart Wants What It Wants” is off of Selena’s upcoming “For You” album, which features all of her greatest hits, along with new remixes.  There’s even a cover of “Bidi Bidi Boom Boom” by the original Selena.  (It’s listed as being performed by Selena Gomez & Selena, so we’re not sure what kind of magic happened in the studio).  Watch the video for “The Heart Wants What It Wants” below!  And join us in playing Selena music all day to celebrate.

NYC’s Born Cages released the official video for their new single “Rolling Down The Hill” over the weekend.  Watch the video below!

You can catch Born Cages’ Vlad Holiday performing an acoustic set at Rockwood Music Hall this Tuesday Nov 4th.  Tickets are available HERE or $16 at the door for this 21+ show.  The full band is having a show at Rockwood on December 2nd!

Olivia Somerlyn Releases Official “Parachute” Video

Olivia Somerlyn premiered her brand new music video for her single “Parachute” today.  The single, which was co-written and co-produced by Nick Jonas, earned Olivia a spot in the Macy’s Rising Star Contest over the summer.  Her fans have been waiting patiently for the video and it’s finally here!

5SOS Release Official Video For “Good Girls”

After teasing us with clips and stills from their latest video, Australian punk rockers 5 Seconds Of Summer finally released the full video for their new single “Good Girls”.

The video shows Calum, Michael, Luke, and Ashton as a classically trained orchestral band in a flyer but they turn up to the “Reform School For Bad Girls” looking like Angus Young from AC/DC.

If anyone’s confused whether 5SOS are a boy band or not (hint: they’re NOT) this video should prove that these guys are poised to bring guitar driven rock music back to the masses!

Austin “the one-man-boy-band”  Mahone just released the video for “Secret,” off his debut EP “The Secret.”  In case you missed Austin on tour this summer, or want to re-live it, the video gives a peek at Austin’s live show.  Which means tons of energy, smooth choreography, a tank top, and lots of fangirls.  Watch it below!

“Secret” is one of our favorite Austin tracks – we love the 90s vibe of the song, complete with a slow breakdown and a hint of Britney Spears’ “Stronger.”   And Austin totally knows what he’s doing: as he recently told Billboard about the EP, “the style I was going for was more of that *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys vibe, ’cause I knew a lot of the older girls like that.”   Excellent plan, Austin.

Mahomies in NYC can see  Austin this weekend in a performance following the New York Mets game on Saturday, September 27th!   Get more info here.  In October, Austin will be heading down to South America for a few shows, then heading to Miami to work on his album.  We can’t wait.  (Keep up the *NSYNC & Backstreet Boys vibes, please!)

The Vamps just released a brand new song and video called “Hurricane!”  The video premiered on the Disney Channel over the weekend, as the song is part of the “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” soundtrack.  You can download it in the US on iTunes or Amazon now!   Watch the video below, featuring Bella Thorne.  (Man these guys love featuring Disney girls in their music videos…)

Rixton Premiere “Wait On Me” Video

British rockers Rixton just released the music video for their latest single, “Wait On Me!”  The video was filmed at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, during the band’s “Broken Heart Tour” over the summer.  If you missed out, you’ll get an idea of what a fun act they are live – make sure you check them out on their next tour! (hopefully soon!)

Watch the video below!  We love the range of influences you can hear in Rixton’s music – this track calls to mind a rocking version of Ace of Base.

The Vamps “Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)” Video With Shawn Mendes

School may be back in session but The Vamps decided to extend summer  just a little bit longer with the release of the official video for their new single “Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)” featuring Vine superstar Shawn Mendes!

In the video, the guys are stuck on a deserted island and trying to get home.   It almost reminds us of that movie, Love Wrecked, starring Amanda Bynes, Aaron Samuels, and Luke from “The O.C.”  Well, minus the fangirl kidnapping, and with way more Tristan in a leopard toga.   Watch the video below!
