Bryce Vine Celebrates “Carnival” Release With Sold Out Webster Hall Show

Bryce Vine dropped his first major label album, “Carnival,” on July 26th and celebrated with a handful of shows including a stop at the legendary Webster Hall in NYC.  The sold out show doubled as a hometown show for Bryce, who was born in New York just a few blocks from the venue.

From the opening song, “Love Is A Blessing,” the crowd could tell they were in for an unforgettable night.  Everyone was singing along loudly throughout the show, from Bryce’s older material to brand new tracks from “Carnival.”    The singing was so loud at times Bryce just let the crowd take over and soaked in the moment, remarking that at times it was so loud it  was “almost irresponsible.”

Bryce closed out the set with his current hit, “La La Land,” which had the already energetic crowd in a frenzy.  He hopped off stage to get even closer to the fans but ended up landing badly and spraining his ankle!   You wouldn’t have had any idea what happened, as Bryce kept on performing and ended the song without missing the beat.

He triumphantly came back out after a short break, telling the crowd he “thought he broke his ankle” but that he couldn’t leave without giving his full set.   Bryce finished the show sitting in a chair on stage, still going just as hard as he had been throughout the night.  The encore included his smash “Drew Barrymore,” “Sour Patch Kids,” and most fittingly “Guilty Pleasure.”    It was a hella fun night and we’re sure Bryce and the entire crowd would do it all again!

Album Preview: Chase Atlantic – “Phases”

“Heaven is calling my name // I’m going through phases” croons Mitchel Cave in the title track off Chase Atlantic’s sophomore effort, “Phases” due out June 28th via BMG/MDDN.  Chase Atlantic, consisting of lead vocalist Mitchel, his older brother Clinton, and Christian Anthony are classically trained musicians who put their obsession with programming to the test when they started creating their own beats and eventually forming their own brand of hip-hop, pop, and rock.

Chase Atlantic’s sophomore album starts off with a slow build intro that’s a fun little taste of what these guys are able to create without lyrics. Clinton, Mitchel, and Christian really show their true production value by creating their own world for the album to exist in and bring it to life on tour.  These guys take pride in bending whatever rules there are and making everything their own.

After premiering a few new tracks on tour, “Angels” and “Heaven And Back,” Chase Atlantic have a cult following with fans eagerly awaiting the second they can have studio versions of tracks, no matter how high quality live recordings are.  Danceable beats paired with dark lyrics are what fans have come to expect from the Aussie group.

“No Rainbows,” “I Never Existed,” and “I Don’t Like Darkness” drift along like smoke throughout the album, intoxicating the room and drawing you into Chase Atlantic’s relaxed and introspective headspace.  “Heaven And Back” is the best example of what Chase Atlantic truly do best: craft a perfect driving song that makes you want to floor it on a neon lit city street in an expensive foreign sports car.

Mitchel, Clinton, and Christian have figured out how to tap into the feels in a way that doesn’t come off contrived.  “Even Though I’m Depressed” rounds out the record and is possibly the best representation of how we’re all feeling inside.  Lyrically, they tapped into exactly how many people feel everyday, put it into words, and are sharing the darkest part of their mind that many artists are afraid of sharing.

Chase Atlantic poured their everything into this record, and that will no doubt propel them in the stratosphere.  Catch them on the “Phases” Tour now with Lauren Sanderson. Check out all of the dates HERE!

Chase Atlantic Go To Space In “Love Is (Not) Easy” Video

Chase Atlantic blast off in their latest video for “Love Is (Not) Easy.”  With Clinton and Christian guiding the ship, Mitchel leaves the love of his life back on Earth and the crew suffer their demise proving that intergalctic love is in fact not easy.   When asked about the song, Mitchel said, “The song was inspired by a dear friend of ours who had recently suffered from heartbreak. He came into the studio and we asked him to write down how he felt and drew inspiration from both his story and our own personal situations. It’s kind of ironic how loving someone can be easy yet so difficult at the same time.”

Kim Petras Announces “Clarity” Project Due Out June 27th

Kim Petras just kicked off her first ever headline tour this week, dropped a new track called “Personal Hell,” and announced the release of her new project, “Clarity!” The new project is slated for release on June 27th! The “Clarity” project will feature 12 tracks including a mix of previously released tracks like “Broken,” “Got My Number,” “Do Me,” and “Blow It All” with several brand new tracks like “Icy,” “Meet The Parents,” and “Shinin’.”  Every single she’s released so far has been a certified BOP and have all dominated Spotify’s weekly charts.

When asked about the “Clarity” project, Kim said, “This project is all about finding myself. It started with ‘Broken’ and will end with Claritybecause it reflects my personal journey over the last two years. In writing my new music, I’ve learnt that a lot of the little things that go wrong in life don’t really matter at the end of the day. If anything, I’m now a stronger person because of them.”

Maggie Lindmann Premieres Cinematic Video For “Friends Go”

Goth GF Maggie Lindmann dropped her cinematic new video for her latest single, “Friends Go” and she’s fed up with being the third wheel! Maggie and her skate legend co-star Le’Andre Sanders crash her Barbie pink convertable in “Death By Third Wheel” directed by Van Alpert who’s worked with everyone including Post Malone.

When asked about his visual direction for the video, Alpert said, “I wanted the car to be a representation of Maggie‘s heart. The car crashing, bouncing and exploding in artistic ways gives you an overall feeling of excitement. When you lose your mind from being excluded from your friends or love, your heart goes through it, just like the car.  I strayed away from the obvious storyline, with the backbone being multiple beautiful crashes where no-one gets hurt.”

Watch the “Friends Go” mini movie “Death By Third Wheel” below!

The new single, “Friends Go” is a further exploration into mental health issues and serves as a prelude to Maggie’s forthcoming full-legth project set to be released later this year. Since emerging with her breakthrough song “Pretty Girl”, she has swerved into a darker, more reflective approach with her music.  Along with documenting her foray into becoming a guitar shredding pop star, Maggie has amassed over a billion streams, over 3 million Instagram followers, and several fashion lines including her latest collab with Zumiez!
