Spencer Sutherland has been having a breakthrough year! He made it to the finals of the Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star competition, thanks to the dedication of his fan base. Spencer was selected as Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month and made his national TV debut on the TODAY show. His new single, “Selfish,” has been climbing up the charts since it was released. We love his signature blend of R&B and pop music!
Spencer was one of a few performers selected to perform on the Festival Stage hosted by Radio Disney during Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day in NYC. We spoke with Spencer after his performance and found out what fans can look forward to from him next, and what boyband’s album he’d take with him on a road trip! Hoodie Allen had been teasing news about his upcoming album all Summer long and we finally have the details! His much awaited new album, “The Hype,” will drop on September 29th. Hoodie also dropped the first single from the album, “Sushi,” and it was well worth the wait. We’ve had it on repeat for days. We love the word play and references to everyone from Screech to 21 Pilots to Nikki Minaj. As Hoodie raps, “I got money rollin’ to me, I got, I got that sushi.” Watch the animated lyric video below and learn all the words!

Our boy Jake Miller just released the music video for “Lost Time!” The song is from Jake’s latest album, “2:00AM in LA,” which he self-released back in June. The video, directed by Edgar Esteves, features Jake in a beautiful desert setting that fits perfectly with the break up song.

Aly & AJ just shared their brand new single called “Take Me” marking their first release in 10 years as Aly & AJ! After focusing on acting and other projects, the Michalka sisters are letting their 80s inspired music roam free after feeling discouraged by music.
“Take Me” is a sweeping pop track asking “when you gonna take me out / make a move and make it now” while maintaining Aly & AJ’s core sound that we all know and love about the sisters.

The Wrecks are good. Like, really good! So good in fact, that they wrote and recorded their debut EP in just a few days. The best decisions are usually made on a whim and almost always have a good story.
After hearing that a friend had access to a legit recording studio for a few days, the guys wrote the best songs they could in a short amount of time. The Wrecks went in to track with zero budget, little studio knowledge, and a ton of borrowed time. They weren’t allowed to be in the studio let alone track anything there! When they heard the studio owner’s ex-wife was stopping by, the guys got outta dodge as fast as they could with what would become their debut EP on a hard drive in a backpack.
The Wrecks debut single “Favorite Liar” caught the traction on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation station and quickly landed the guys plenty of fans include Baltimore natives, All Time Low. “We’re so stoked that All Time Low asked us to come out with them this summer,” said the band “and we’re looking forward to playing stages that size for the first time. We can’t wait to get back out on the road again, as we’ve been mostly cramped inside writing new material and working on our set for the past few months. It’s refreshing to see such a good mix of genres in thelineup, as well. We’re gonna bring it 110% every night and we’re confident the crowds will, too.”

Chase Atlantic just dropped their ice cold new video for “Why Stop Now” from the second installment of what’s to become their debut album. The latest video has the trio in the beautifully snow-covered Yosemite National Park directed by Jake Stark. Capturing the hollow, haunting nature of the song with nothing but natural light, the group took to their surroundings and even tossed a few snowballs back and forth.

Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day is always one of our favorite events of the year! The all day event is a celebration of our two loves: music and tennis! AAKD kicks off the US Open in festive style every year in NYC, with activities like face painting, tennis skill tests, jugglers, and more. There is also a concert and the chance to watch the pros practice up close!
The stadium show in Arthur Ashe Stadium features some of the hottest rising stars in music alongside top tennis players in an event that is part concert, part tennis skill, and all fun! AAKD always has a knack for booking the next big thing. Past performers have included Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, The Vamps & more. This year’s show will feature performances by co-host and headliner Alex Aiono, Sofia Carson, New Hope Club, Jack & Jack, and Saving Forever.
