Country’s new darling, Lexi Lauren loves Dolly Parton just as much as we do! Lexi’s latest track is a brooding cover of Dolly’s classic song “Hard Candy Christmas.” It’s not easy stepping into Dolly’s bedazzled footsteps, but Lexi absolutely nails her cover!
Lexi’s first single “Don’t Text” premiered on Radio Disney earlier this year and she’s heading into 2018 armed with brand new original music!

‘Tis the season for boys in matching chunky turtlenecks and festive headwear! If you’re searching for the perfect Holiday music to add to your playlist (or any playlist), you can’t go wrong with some classic boyband songs.
1. 98 Degrees – “This Gift” Is it okay if we say this is our favorite 98 Degrees album? (Sorry, “Microphone.”)
2. *NSYNC – “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” The most iconic Christmas music video of all time.
3. NKOTB – “Funky Funky Xmas”
They performed this on the Arsenio Hall Show in 1990, and Jordan decided his Christmas gift to you would be to take his shirt off mid-performance.
4. Big Time Rush – “Beautiful Christmas” Confession: we will listen to this song year round if it shuffles on our BTR playlist.
5. Backstreet Boys – “It’s Christmas Time Again” BSB somehow managed to avoid releasing a full Christmas album (although we would love that guys, get on it). They did release this single in in 2012.
Tiffany Houghton knows there’s no better place at Christmastime than NYC! She filmed the video for her new Holiday single, “Blame It On The Snow” at iconic spots throughout the city, like Rockefeller Center. If this doesn’t get you in the spirit, we’re not sure what will. Watch the video below!
You can pickup a copy of “Blame It On The Snow” on iTunes now or as part of Tiffany’s special Christmas edition of “This Is Not an EP.”
We caught up with Tiffany over the Summer during the American Dream Tour with MKTO. Watch our interview below and get to know more about Tiff!
It’s Black Friday, which means you no longer have to wonder if it’s socially acceptable to start listening to Christmas music. It’s on. When you’re tired of hearing Taylor Swift’s “Last Christmas” playing at Target/The Mall/Everywhere You Go, here are some of our favorite Christmas albums.
1. *NSYNC – “Home For Christmas”
Definitely the greatest boyband Christmas album of all time (We are still surprised Backstreet Boys never made one!) Of course, it also has the best Christmas music video of all time for “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.”
2. Hilary Duff – “Santa Clause Lane” This video used to play on Disney Channel during every single commercial break. Can you still do the Lil’ Romeo rap? (We can.)
3. Music From “The O.C.” Mix 3: Have a Very Merry Chrismukkah” Two of the most important things on “The O.C.” were music and Seth Cohen’s favorite holiday, Chrismukkah. This soundtrack features original Holiday tracks from show favorites like Rooney, Jimmy Eat World, and The Raveonettes.
4. The Beach Boys – “The Beach Boys Christmas Album”
It’s hard to pick a favorite track off of this classic album, from their originals “Little Saint Nick” and “Merry Christmas, Baby” to their versions of Christmas standards. We’ve been hearing these songs literally every year since birth, but we still aren’t tired of them.
5. Justin Bieber – “Under The Mistletoe”
We all love his single “Mistletoe,” and of course his remake of “All I Want for Christmas” with Mariah. But our favorite is the beautiful acapella version of “Fa La La” featuring Boyz II Men.
Country duo Dan + Shay just released a Holiday gift for their fans, as a thank you for all of their support in 2014! It’s been quite a successful year for the duo, who released their debut album back in April. Dan + Shay are currently on tour with Hunter Hayes, wrapping up at the end of the year. Their album, “Where It All Began,” is one of our favorites of this year, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for the duo. Not only are they talented, they are also kind and generous to their fans, and genuinely passionate about what they do, on and off stage. We can’t thank them enough.
We always try to add some new Christmas music to our playlists every year, to go along with the essentials. (That list would include *NSYNC’s “Home For Christmas,” Hilary Duff’s “Santa Clause Lane,” and “Music From The O.C. Mix 3: Have A Very Merry Chrismukkah.”) So we were thrilled to hear that one of our favorite boyband members was releasing a Holiday single!
Kendall Schmidt, from Big Time Rush and Heffron Drive, just released “Blame It On the Mistletoe.” The track will definitely get you in the Holiday spirit. Listen below and pickup a copy on iTunes now!
And if you’re feeling nostalgic for BTR, watch their performance of “Beautiful Christmas” from the National Tree Lighting, complete with matching tuxedos. (#boybandsforever)
