MAX and Quinn XCII’s hit “Love Me Less” has been part of the soundtrack of the Summer of 2019.  The track has been climbing the charts with its relatable lyrics and catchy melody.   We love each of their unique sounds, and having them together made for one of our favorite collabs this year.

The duo teamed up to perform together at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day at the US Open in NYC, with an energetic performance on court that had the whole stadium rocking.   Can we just say that we’d love to see these two go on tour together?

SecretFangirls.com Interview Austin Mahone at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day

We started calling Austin Mahone the one man boyband years ago, and we still stand by it. The man has a harmonious voice and the smooth dance moves to match. He just released a new single, “Dancing With Nobody,” and has been working on an album set to drop next year.

Austin performed the new single for the first time at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day in NYC, showing off his dance skills and his beautiful voice. It wasn’t Austin’s first time at AAKD – he was featured back in 2013, too!

We chatted with Austin before the show, and even got him to sing and dance a little. Watch our interview and hear about his ultimate fangirl moment!

SecretFangirls.com Interview Ava Max at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day

Ava Max is on her way to being the next big pop star. She has a knack for crafting catchy, infectious songs you just can’t get out of your head in the best way. Her single “Sweet But Psycho” put her on the map and every track she’s released just makes you want to dance along!

Ava kicked off a busy weekend with a performance at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, where she sang “So Am I” on court.  Next up she’ll be performing at the MTV VMA Pre-show!

We chatted with Ava at AAKD about her new single “Torn,” who she’d love to collab with, and what fans can look forward to coming soon! Watch our interview below and find out.

SecretFangirls.com Interview JAGMAC at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day

JAGMAC were named one of Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing artists in 2018 and they are certainly living up to the name!   The group of six siblings, who got their name from their first initials, can sing, dance, choreograph, and play instruments.  They also each have black belts in Tae Kwon Do!  You may have caught them on tour with In Real Life. They recently dropped a fun Summer track called “Like A Band,” and are gearing up for some headlining shows later this year.

JAGMAC performed at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day this weekend in NYC on both the Festival Stage on the grounds and inside Arthur Ashe Stadium.  They got the day off to a fun start with their high energy performance and definitely brought life to the party!   We love the throwback to Aqua’s hit 90s song “Barbie Girl” in “Like A Band.”

We chatted with JAGMAC before the show and talked music, Power Rangers, fans, and more. Watch our interview with Jared, Angelique, Gabriel, Manjo, Alyssa, and CJ below!

SecretFangirls.com Interview JD McCrary at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day

Get ready because JD McCrary is about to take over the music world. The triple threat (he can sing, dance, and act!) dropped his debut EP, “Shine,” earlier this year and was the voice of Young Simba in the new “The Lion King” movie. He’s also been a part of tracks with Childish Gambino and Jon Bellion, and he stars on “The Paynes” on The Oprah Network.

Did we mention JD is only 12-years-old? He was the youngest artist ever signed to Disney’s Hollywood Records. We can’t wait to see what he does next!

JD was tapped to co-host Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day (make that a quadruple threat?) in NYC alongside Radio Disney’s Morgan Tompkins and Meg Donnelly.

We spoke with JD before AAKD about what’s coming next, who else he’d love to collaborate with, and the time he met Beyonce. Watch our interview below!

In Real Life, CNCO, AJ Mitchell & More Rock Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day at the US Open

Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day is one of our favorite days of the year as it brings together two of our favorite things: music and tennis!   The event is in celebration of Arthur Ashe, the tennis player and humanitarian who won the first US Open title in 1968.  This year was extra special as it’s also the 50th anniversary of the US Open!

On Saturday, current tennis players Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Madison Keys, Angelique Kerber, and Serena Williams hit the court along with young players from the NJTL and Net Generation.  The show also featured performances from some of the hottest rising artists.  AAKD has a knack for booking talent before they make it big: past performers include Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, & Demi Lovato just to name a few.

The show was hosted by Skai Jackson and Alex Aiono, returning to Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day for his third time!  Echosmith kicked off the show with their hit singles “Cool Kids” and “Over My Head.”   In Real Life celebrated their one-year anniversary since they came together on ABC’s “Boy Band” by performing in front of one of their biggest crowds to date!   They showed off their moves and harmonies to their new single, “Tonight Belongs To You.”

Djokovic, Nadal, Kerber, and Keys hit the court for a target challenge alongside young player Nicole, representing the NJTL chapter in Silver Springs, MD.  Each player had to hit forehands and backhands, as a tally was kept of each target that was hit.  Nicole blew the pros off the court and hit more backhands and forehands than any of them!  Each player was hitting for a special charity.

Serena Williams hopped on court with a group of lucky Net Generation players!  She rallied with some players and even showed off her jump roping skills!  This will be Serena’s first US Open since becoming a mother last year and as always she was thrilled to be a part of AAKD!

AJ Mitchell was surprised with the news that he’d be performing at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day during an interview with Radio Disney’s Morgan, who also co-hosted the show.  AJ sang his catchy new song “Girls,” from his new EP “Hopeful.”

Kim Petras’ bubbly pop sound helped keep the party going with her infectious “Heart To Break.”

CNCO performed on the court in perfect boy band formation.  They had the crowd moving to their hits “Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos)” and “Se Vuelve Loca.”  Their performance definitely earned some of the biggest screams of the day!

All of the performers joined Shine MSD and drama students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on stage for the finale for a special performance of “Shine.”   The song has become an anthem for people to spread love and awareness, and that you’re never too young to make a change.  It was a fitting end to a day in honor of a man who also worked to share the same message.
