NKOTB Announce The Total Package Tour with Paula Abdul & Boyz II Men

It’s a known fact among fangirls that NKOTB are notoriously bad at keeping secrets.  Last week when they teased a huge announcement was going to be made on the TODAY show, it took Blockheads about 5 minutes to figure it out.  But if there is anyone worse at keeping a secret, it’s Paula Abdul.  After finishing her set at the Mixtape Festival over the Summer, she quickly told the crowd “I’m going on tour with NKOTB & Boyz II Men next year bye!”  Which left us with so many questions for Paula.  When does it start?  What venues?  When do pre-sales start?

Luckily for us, that day has come!  On the TODAY show this morning, NKOTB officially announced the “Total Package Tour” with Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul will kick off in May in Columbus, OH!   Tickets go on sale to the public on Saturday, November 19th.  Pre-sales for Blockhead members and Amex cardholders start TOMORROW, Wednesday, November 16th.

NKOTB are the absolute best at giving you all the on-sale info you could ever need.  Head over to NKOTB.com for all the info on pre-sales, VIP packages, and more.  There is even a very detailed plan of the stage to help plan your ticket buying!  And if you struggle with figuring out what “local venue time” means, they have a handy time zone converter.  (Dear NKOTB team, please teach other artists how to do on-sales, thank you.)

The tour is hitting major arenas across the US, along with stops at Fenway Park (which should be another epic show) and Hollywood Bowl.  This is Paula Abdul’s first tour in over 25 years.  She CRUSHED IT at Mixtape Festival!  And NKOTB and Boyz II Men always BRING IT each and every night.  This is one tour you do not want to miss.  Check out all of the tour dates below!

Cam’s “Burning House” Tour Hits Highline Ballroom in NYC

We saw Cam for the first time in 2014 when she opened for Dan + Shay on their first headlining tour at Highline Ballroom in NYC.  Her set was so much fun (one of our favorite openers ever!) and we knew we’d be hearing much more from her in the future.  Since that show, Cam signed with Sony, released her debut album “Untamed,” and had her first #1 single, “Burning House.”    Cam came full circle last week when she came back to Highline Ballroom on her first headlining tour, the “Burning House” Tour.

Cam played every track from “Untamed” during her set.  The enthusiastic crowd sang along from start to finish.  We love that Cam took the time to introduce every track, telling the crowd anecdotes and the inspiration for writing each song.  She has a knack for storytelling, evident in both her songwriting and her on stage banter.  Every story was heartfelt or hilarious, or a little bit of both.  She reminded us of another blonde country star: Dolly Parton!

Cam had one of the coolest sets we had ever seen, turning the stage into a beautiful house in the woods complete with forest creatures and flashing stars.  It got even cooler when a blacklight made it seem to glow in the dark about halfway through the set.

Cam played some new material during the show, including the head-banging “Man Hunt,” which showed that Cam can totally rock.   She closed her set with the hilarious “Fireball Whiskey,” which Cam had actually pitched to the company.   She said they declined since the track “does not promote responsible drinking.”

The night ended with Cam’s breakout single, “Burning House,” which turned into a very loud singalong.  The “Burning House” Tour runs through December.  Click here for tour dates!  Don’t miss your chance to see this rising star.

Shiffley Debut New Single “Sleepless Night”

Shiffley just dropped a brand new single called “Sleepless Nights.”  The synth heavy track is a preview of the sound and direction of their upcoming debut album.  The song is “a story about a robot who falls so deeply in love with a human that it is willing to take on the full emotional spectrum to be with her.”

SecretFangirls.com Interview Fly By Midnight

We caught up with pop duo Fly By Midnight before their show at Webster Hall in NYC.  Justin Bryte and Justin “Slavo” Slaven make infectious pop music with clever lyrics that turn any show into one big party.  They’ve gathered quite a following on social media with their fun covers and original songs and videos.  (Please go watch the video for “Brooklyn” if you haven’t already.)   We got to hear even more of their original music during their set at Webster Hall and it’s SO.  GOOD.  They are an artist you need to know and if you ever get the chance to see them live, go!

Tiffany Houghton just released the music video for her brand new single “I’m Gonna Love You!”   The video has a fun, mod look that goes perfectly with the upbeat track.  We love Tiffany’s knack for writing catchy tunes that you can’t help but sing along to!  Tiffany’s last single, “Catch Me If You Can,” went straight to #1 on the Radio Disney chart over the Summer.  We think you’re gonna love this song just as much!

Nathan Sykes Debuts “Famous” Video

Nathan Sykes has hands down, one of the most incredible voices we’ve ever heard.   We’ve been counting down the days until the release of his solo album, out November 11th!  He just dropped the music video for his next single from the album, “Famous.”  Nathan always introduces this track as the most personal song that he’s written and his favorite to perform live.  Watch the video below!

Jake Miller Premieres “Overnight” Video

Jake is all about making your fangirl dreams come true!  He just premiered his brand new video for the single “Overnight” starring Simone Biles – yes, that Simone Biles, the 4-time gold medalist from the 2016 Olympics.

Jake Miller was one of the many celebrity hotties that Simone fangirled over, including Zac Efron, who flew to Rio to surprise her!  But Jake outdid the movie star by inviting Simone to star in his brand new music video.  Take that Zefron!  Simone went from lip synching along to “Overnight” in her hotel in Rio to starring in his video.  Simone gets the gold medal in fangirling as well.

The video follows Jake and Simone as they try and work out their differences and yes, change takes time, but Jake can definitely fix everything overnight.  The video has everything: Jake in a tank top, Jake in a tank top on a revolving bed, Jake and Simone dancing together, and that killer denim jacket on Simone (ahem, where can we get one of those?) and some serious muscles courtesy of Jake!

MAX Releases “Lights Down Low” Video

MAX just dropped the music video for his new single “Lights Down Low” featuring Gnash and it is giving us SO MANY FEELS.  MAX always has creative and interesting concepts for his videos, and this one is no exception.   The concept, execution, and the song are just perfect together.

MAX shared his thoughts on Facebook:  “This video was almost 6 months in the making and means more to me than any other we’ve ever created thus far. Every detail was crucial. Every moment in the story. We just wanted it to be real. How our lives are really made up of individual flashes in time. Special moments that are unexplainable and intangible yet go by in a flash.”

Watch the video below and try not to cry. We did about 3 times.
