Nick Carter’s “All American” Tour Hits NYC

Nick Carter’s “All American” Tour hit the Playstation Theatre in NYC over the weekend. We expected Nick to give 300% on tour, as he does with everything he does, but he was even better than we expected. The show was divided into three parts with a distinct style – rock star Nick played guitar to start off the night, he broke it down for a more acoustic set wearing a fedora, and ended the night showing off his dance moves. The show gave Nick a chance to show off his range from boyband pop to rock and back again.

Nick managed to find the perfect balance between his solo material and Backstreet Boys songs. He also threw in “One More Time,” from his project with Jordan Knight of NKOTB. While some solo artists refuse to even acknowledge the group or band they came from, Nick fully embraced his boyband heritage. He understands that while the crowd is definitely there to support and hear Nick’s new music, odds are they are BSB fans as well. This made for an insanely fun, high energy show as he surprised us with a mix of songs from all of his solo projects and a mix of Backstreet songs. We all got to party like we were “19 in 99!”

Brian Littrell made a surprise appearance on stage, eliciting lots of 1999 level screaming from the audience. He joined Nick for “I Want It That Way” and “Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely.” Honestly, the show could have ended right there, but the night was just getting started. Brian also let it slip that the guys already have six songs recorded for the next Backstreet Boys album! They’re set to put the finishing touches on it very, very soon.

Nick got to show off his moves from “Dancing With The Stars,” breaking out into a salsa number after “The Call.” He ended the night with a series of songs that showed of his lighter side – and Nick is clearly not afraid of make fun of himself or have a good time with his fans. He’s no stranger to being in front of large crowds but that’s really where Nick Carter shines – on a stage with his fans singing along with him!

Good Charlotte Announce Club Tour Dates (!!!)

It’s been a while (TOO LONG) since the guys in Good Charlotte have been together but they are officially BACK! They just announced a club tour hitting the East Coast in April! The MD born & bred band have announced a few club dates for this Spring and we’re hoping they have a few more tricks up their sleeves (like a co-headliner tour with Simple Plan? wink-wink!). They also revealed that their new album will be released sometime this Summer, with the lead single dropping in April.

The revival of pop punk is just what we were hoping for for years since it disappeared in favor of dance and EDM music. Check out the Good Charlotte tour dates below! Pre-sales begin Wednesday, March 16th at 10am while general on sales begin Friday March 18th at 10am local time.

MAX Drops “Lights Down Low”

MAX just dropped another track from his upcoming album, “Hell’s Kitchen Angel.” As if we weren’t already excited enough! “Lights Down Low” shows off MAX’s serious vocal range and his sensitive side. MKTO Release “Hands Off My Heart/Places You Go”

After teasing fans on social media with new music, MKTO finally dropped their new single – and we get TWO songs! “Hands Off My Heart/Places You Go” is a two part story . This is the first new music we’ve had from Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller since last Summer’s “Bad Girls” EP (still our JAM). The duo have been hard at work in the studio writing and recording for their upcoming sophomore album. We can’t wait! Nick Fradiani Releases New Single “Get You Home”

American Idol winner Nick Fradiani just released his new single “Get You Home” from his upcoming debut album of the same name. The single is a departure from what we’ve heard from Nick in the past. “Get You Home” is a huge poppy dance single that will get you moving to the Timberlake-esque groove and sharp falsetto. Nick will be taking the “American Idol” stage once more tonight at 8/7 C to perform his new single on television for the first time and to help celebrate the storied history of the show, currently in its final season.

Emo is officially back, with bands like Best Kept Secret, An Honest Year, and This is All Now making a splash in the music scene. The bands just announced a special tour appropriately titled the “Emo Is Back Tour” for the Spring. The bill also features some of the most promising new emo bands rotating as opening acts.

Rooney Announces The “Welcome Home” Tour

The Rooney announcements just keep rolling in! Last week, the band released their new single, “My Heart Beats 4 U” and announced their new album “Washed Away” will be out on May 6th. Rooney is also going on tour in May in support of the new album! The “Welcome Home” Tour kicks off in CA May 3rd and hits cities on the West and East coasts.
