Few artists have had as much chart topping success as Mariah Carey. She ranks in second place in the most #1 singles of any artist, just behind The Beatles. She just announced her upcoming second full album of her 18 #1 hits, named “#1 to Infinity.” Here are our all time favorite Mariah #1s and music videos!
1. “Fantasy”
This video is basically our Summer outfit and activity goals.
2. “One Sweet Day” featuring Boyz II Men
Why aren’t there more boyband/pop star duets? We need an *NSYNC/Britney single. The closest we have is Hannah Montana and Jonas Brothers “We Got The Party”
3. “Heartbreaker” featuring Jay-Z
Definitely one of the greatest music videos of the TRL era (RIP). We’d still vote for it today.
4. “Honey”
We love that this video is a mini Bond movie. They just don’t make music videos like this anymore!

This week mark’s the 15th anniversary of one of the greatest albums of all time – *NSYNC’s “No Strings Attached.” We have fond memories of pre-ordering the CD at Sam Goody, running to the mall after school the day it came out to pick it up. And of course, you weren’t cool unless you brought the album with you the next day and fangirled over the pictures of your favorite (JC and Lance) in the CD booklet! In honor of this momentous occasion, here are our favorite songs from “No Strings Attached.” We recommend celebrating by watching *NSYNC: Live from Madison Square Garden and dancing along.
1. “Bye Bye Bye”
Everything about this song is amazing. The dance moves, the video, that note JC hits?
2. “It’s Gonna Be Me”
The origin of *NSYNC’s signature slow lean and pop.
3. “I Thought She Knew”
*NSYNC were known for their moves and style, but this track proved they could SING. We get chills every time we listen to it. If we ever get to hear this live (Which we will because a reunion tour will happen.) we will be in tears.
4. “It Makes Me Ill”
Don’t you feel awesome when you can sing along to that quick verse at the beginning?
5. “Digital Get Down”
Basically, *NSYNC sang about Face Time before it was even a thing.
Bonus: “Space Cowboy” feat. Lisa Left Eye Lopes
Yes, they rode mechanical bulls during this song on tour.
Shania Twain announced this week that she’s embarking on her first tour in over a decade, and it happens to be her LAST TOUR EVER!! (cries) Check out the full list of tour dates for Shania’s “Rock This Country Tour 2015” HERE.
Now, slip into your leopard jumpsuit with matching cape and go a little crazy this weekend because we decided to showcase our favorite Shania Twain songs from her impressive catalog of hits!
It’s real, y’all! Rumors had been going around that Shania Twain would be heading out on tour, and she confirmed the news this morning with a huge announcement on GMA. The Rock This Country Tour kicks off in Seattle on June 5th, with dates across the US and Canada throughout the Summer, including a stop at Madison Square Garden! It’s been 12 years since Shania’s last headlining tour, but after all these years, she’s still the one. She also announced that this would be her LAST tour ever!
Her two year residency in Las Vegas ended last year, and if that show is any indicator of what to expect on tour, we are in for an AMAZING show. Her Vegas show had everything: flying motorcycles, live horses, moving sets, leopard jumpsuits, backup dancers, and more. If you missed it, you can pickup a copy of Shania Twain: Still The One on DVD and get ready to rock this country with Shania all summer.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, March 13th, with pre-sales happening a few days before. Come on over to ShaniaTwain.com for all the details and check out the dates below!

We’re excited that The Duff is finally in theaters since it’s been a while since we’ve had a teen comedy in theaters – unlike the 90s when one seemed to open every week. Here are some of our favorite 90s teen movies and their best musical moments.
1. Clueless The greatest movie of all time, and one of the greatest soundtracks, with everyone from Coolio to Radiohead to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. The soundtrack is being reissued in April on vinyl for its 20th (!!!) anniversary.
2. Drive Me Crazy Starring a pre-Entourage Adrian Grenier and a post-Sabrina Melissa Joan Hart, with a theme song by Britney Spears.
3. She’s All That So many great musical moments, like Rachel Leigh Cook walking down the stairs to “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer. But our favorite is the dance scene, where the entire school knows the choreography to “Funk Soul Brother” by Fatboy Slim.
4. Never Been Kissed Michael Vartan = bae. We can’t listen to the Beach Boys’ “Don’t Worry Baby” without thinking of this movie’s ending.
5. 10 Things I Hate About You Everyone wanted to be serenaded by Heath Ledger.

It’s tearing up our hearts that an *NSYNC reunion hasn’t happened yet. But we are never giving up hope. Especially since the band members are all still friends – Lance revealed on Watch What Happens Live that the guys have a group text and talk almost every day. (!!!!) Last night, E! aired a special on Lance Bass’ wedding to Michael Turchin. It was a beautiful ceremony, and a historic moment, and we’re so glad that Lance and Michael shared with us all. Oh, and how amazing was it seeing Joey and JC? (Chris was there too but we only caught a brief glimpse of him) We’re still fangirling over JC’s role as the “wedding singer.” He hasn’t aged a day (sorry Justin, but he was always our fave), and it reminded us just how much we need to see JC, and the rest of the guys, on stage again.
So while we wait for that reunion tour announcement (seriously, the amount we would be willing to pay for tickets to that tour increases daily), watch our favorite *NSYNC videos and try not to drive yourself crazy wanting them back.
1. “I Drive Myself Crazy”
We used to re-enact this video, which we had recorded on a VHS tape. So many great moments: Lance and his flowers. Justin’s hair. JC’s eyes (swoon)
2. “Bye Bye Bye”
We voted for this video on TRL EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. If you claim to not know the “Bye Bye Bye” dance, you are lying.
3. “Pop”
All that matters is that you recognize that’s it’s just about RESPECT!
4. “It’s Gonna Be Me”
The video that launched the signature “lean and pop” move (now replicated by the one-man boyband Austin Mahone)
5. “I Want You Back”
We prefer the European version of the video, which takes place in space, and has the guys in tight tops and baggy waggy pants.
BONUS: “U Drive Me Crazy”
Another European video. Just watch it, we can’t even explain.
In case you haven’t noticed, we are insanely excited about The Main Event Tour happening this summer. NKOTB, TLC, and Nelly performing together on one stage? It’s guaranteed to be a nonstop party. Not sure about you, but we’ll be attending at least two shows. Check out all of the tour dates HERE! Here are some of the songs we can’t wait to hear this summer!
1. NKOTB – “Block Party” The ultimate opening song, and NKOTB says it best: “Leave your troubles all behind only good times here tonight.” We still know all the choreography from The Package Tour.
2. TLC – “No Scrubs” One of our favorite songs of the late 90s – we can’t wait for an arena-wide singalong.
3. Nelly – “Hot In Herre”
We’re imagining some sort of onstage collab between NKOTB & Nelly for this song, especially since NKOTB have done some “Dirty Dancing” to this song in the past.
4. NKOTB – “Cover Girl”
If you’ve seen NKOTB on tour before, then you might also know this song as “that song when Donnie rips off his tank top.”
5. TLC – Waterfalls Throwing it way back to the days when we had to record songs off of the radio to cassette tapes on our boom boxes so we could listen on our Walkmen. (Kids, if you have no idea what we’re taking about, watch this. You have no idea how easy you have it now)
Mixtape Festival, the ultimate fangirl fest, is returning to Hersheypark Stadium this June after a one year hiatus. We’re not “festival people,” but we will make an exception for Mixtape, which brings together the best in 90s pop for an unforgettable weekend. We went to the inaugural fest in 2012 and saw NKOTBSB, LL Cool J, and 98 Degrees’ first show post- reunion. Needless to say, it was AMAZING, and we’re thrilled that Mixtape Festival is back in 2015! Check out the lineup below – tickets go on sale Saturday, January 31st.
2015 Mixtape Festival Lineup
NKOTB
TLC
Nelly
Sugar Ray
Vanilla Ice
Salt-n-Pepa
Mixtape Festival is great because all of the artist play full sets, not abbreviated festival sets. There are usually fun activities to go along with the concert, like boyband vs. boyband dodgeball games and VIP afterparties. Visit MixtapeFestival.com for more info on tickets and VIP packages!
