SWMRS premiered the brand new video for their breakout single “Figure It Out” just before the release of their debut album “Drive North” out now on their own label, Uncool Records.
The album was produced by FIDLAR front man Zac Carpenter and captured the bands explosive, youthful energy that they hope to bring to cities around the United States on their headlining tour this Spring. The New York Mets just announced the first performer for their postgame concert series for the 2016 season! Andy Grammer is kicking things off on June 18th following the Mets game against the Atlanta Braves. The concert is included with your ticket and takes place about 20 minutes following the game from a stage behind second base. Artist typically play full sets (around 10 songs or more!) and recent performers have included Boyz II Men and Austin Mahone. Baseball & a concert under the stars sounds like a perfect Summer night to us! Tickets for the game are on-sale now. Stay tuned for more artist announcements!

Nick Carter just dropped the music video for his brilliantly titled new single “19 in 99.” Don’t we all wish we could go back to 1999? Think of all the concerts and “TRL” tapings you could go to! We can’t decide which Nick in the video is our favorite, although we might have to go with Backstreet Nick dressed in all white. Look out for a familiar pizza delivery man in the video too. After taking a (much needed) break to re-group and work on new music, Dan + Shay are back with a brand new single! The duo posted a “be back soon” message just before the Holidays and returned earlier this week with some exciting news: new music! Have we mentioned how much we’ve missed them? The song got high praise from Warner Nashville President John Esposito (side note: we have seen Espo at shows rocking out and he is the bomb) and Scooter Braun, who called it a “game changer.” Well, the wait is over and “From The Ground Up” is here! WE HAVE NEW MUSIC FROM DAN + SHAY!!! Watch the video below!
The track was co-written by Chris DeStefano (who has written many of our JAMS) and is the first track off of Dan + Shay’s upcoming sophomore release. We had high hopes for this song – Dan + Shay’s “Where It All Began” is one of our favorite albums of all time – and it did not disappoint!
A friend of ours has described Dan + Shay as a country version of Backstreet Boys, and “From The Ground Up” certainly fits the bill. The emotional power ballad is driven by the smooth harmonies and powerful vocals we’ve come to know and love from the duo. Dan + Shay draw from both pop songwriting and a traditional country narrative. We’re sure this song will be played at many upcoming weddings!

It’s Super Bowl time once again and while the ads are fun (remember the Tim Tebow one with the puppies?) the halftime show is what we’re all watching for…right? Coldplay is set to perform this year, along with some special guests. In honor of Sunday’s game, we’re throwing it back to our five favorite halftime shows! Zendaya just dropped a new track, “Something New,” and it’s like she knew what a 90s kick we’ve been on lately (and by lately we mean all the time). Walk The Moon have been teasing news for some time and finally they revealed that they will be hitting the road with MisterWives on the “Work This Body Tour” all Summer long!
The pop infused indie rock quartet exploded on the scene in 2015 with their smash single “Shut Up And Dance.” Their latest single, “Work This Body,” is an ode to the saying “living well is the best revenge.” It’s the perfect anthem to chant when you set out to prove your naysayers wrong by working hard and succeeding – either in your fitness regime, passing that Honors Chemistry test, or getting that promotion you know you deserve.

We first saw Long Island’s own Shiffley over the Summer when they opened for our friends in Patent Pending. They immediately won us over with their synth-driven pop-rock sound and their energetic onstage presence. We were thrilled we got to see them again recently at Piano’s in NYC. Their set is a blast from start to finish, including a rock version of Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love,” which we didn’t know we needed until now. Their single “Cry” has some of the catchiest gang vocals we’ve ever heard (seriously, listen to it once and you’ll be humming it for days, in a good way).
In a few short years, Shiffley have made a name for themselves in the New York music scene, sharing the stage with not only Patent Pending, but also Twenty One Pilots and Plain White Ts. Band mates Alex Ganes, Alex Jenks, Bryan Contreras, Shaune Killough, and Will Rosati have created the perfect blend of synth driven pop rock. While you can certainly hear their influences from bands like The Killers, Shiffley have a unique sound that’s all their own.

Reigning ACM New Artist of the Year Cole Swindell just announced the release date for his much anticipated sophomore album. “You Should Be Here” will be released on May 6th! The album is named after Cole’s successful single of the same name, a touching song written in memory of his late father.
