The Vamps just announced a huge Australian tour next January and they’re bringing NYC indie pop band AJR with them! The Vamps are fresh off their first headlining UK arena tour, and the band just won three BBC Radio1 Teen Awards – Best British Breakthrough, Best British Group, and Best British Single.

Nick Jonas has been keeping busy since the Jonas Brothers broke up. He’s been in the studio writing new music for his solo launch – without The Administration this time! In between fashion week shows in NYC, Nick J made a few press stops to promote his latest single, “Jealous.”
The song was inspired by Nick’s jealous feelings when other guys look at his girlfriend, a former beauty-queen. Wonder if she ever gets jealous of all the fan girls looking at Nick? Maybe he should post less revealing photos on Instagram…

The Tattoo (Your Name) Tour kicks off in October in Pennsylvania. Even better? He is bringing SecretFangirl.com favorites Dan + Shay and The Railers on tour with him! Talk about a dream tour lineup. Hunter also said that he will be doing something unexpected on this tour that’s never been done before, and that they had been working on a new technology to make it happen. We have no idea what we’re in for, but we can’t wait for this tour!

NYC’s THE HEYDAZE just announced they will be joining Timeflies on tour this Fall! If you’re not familiar with them yet, then trust us: this is a band you need to know. After having their first show, ever, back in April, they’ve already sold out NYC’s Webster Hall and scored an opening spot on the In Technicolor Tour with Jesse McCartney. They were also a part of the iHeartRadio & Macy’s Rising Star Contest. We love their acoustic-driven, catchy pop sound, and their knack for lyrical puns. If you’re into the whole “driving around in the car with the top down, loving life kind of thing” then THE HEYDAZE are the band for you.

Let’s be real: When you hear the phrase “teenage band from the UK,” you probably cringe. If that’s the case, you haven’t heard of The Strypes yet, one of our favorite new artists. The Strypes have a sound way beyond their years, drawing influences from The Yardbirds, The Rolling Stones and The Animals. It’s hard to believe they are all under 18 years old. Their debut album, “Snapshot,” is available on iTunes now, and they just released the “4 Track Mind” EP in the US today. Listen to their track “Hard To Say No” below.
We unfortunately missed their sold-out album release show in NYC last March, which Rolling Stone raved about. Since the talented quartet hail from the Ireland, we weren’t sure when we’d get a chance to see them again. Lucky for us (and you) they are back in the US this week for a string of shows, including stops at the 9:30 Club and Music Hall of Williamsburg.
