Between You & Me Release First Independent Single “Nevermind” & Video

Australian powerhouse Between You & Me are “searching for the California kinda vibe” with the release of their latest single, “Nevermind,” the band’s first as a newly independent band.

Since loudly departing Hopeless Records last year, BY&M have drummed up some serious attention and huge tour slots for the rest of 2023, ready to take on the future with grace and determination. “Nevermind” is a heavily sarcastic, kiss off party anthem that frontman Jake Wilson says “perfectly captures the spirit of our band and our live show.”

The music video is full of fun tour footage from their last run across the USA. The guys skate through Beverly Hills, leap frog down the Santa Monica Pier, and hit the beach for a vibe-y, Summer video. Our favorite cameo is Matty Healy of The 1975 who rolls through in a classic red convertible when you least expect it!

“Nevermind” comes out ahead of Between You & Me’s North American tour with Real Friends and State Champs that we guarantee will be a night you won’t forget! Check out the tour dates below and grab your tickets while you can.

Album Preview: Homesafe – “One”

Homesafe are Pure Noise Records’ latest hot ticket band to watch in 2018.  You probably caught them when they opened for Free Throw or Boston Manor this past Spring or on Slam Dunk this past May but Homesafe are breaking out on their own. Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago and comprised of Ryan Rumchaks (bassist, Knuckle Puck), Tyler Albertson, Emanuel Duran, and Joe Colseby, Homesafe are dropping their new full length album, “One,” on June 29th through Pure Noise Records.

Every song on this album is a banger drawing inspiration from their 90s forefathers while managing to keep their sound fresh and relevant.  You’ll want to blast this record as loud as you possibly can while racing down the highway with all the windows down.  It’s THAT good!
The first singles, “Stay Away,” “Vanilla-Scented Laser Beams,” and “Run” are early indicators of just how good this band is.  Homesafe are bringing back the fuzzy grunge sounds made famous by Queens Of The Stone Age and Foo Fighters, “One” is an album of epic proportions.
Stand out tracks like  “Say Something” and “Time Ain’t Free” are driving forces on the album bringing us to the album closer, “fin.”  This is one of the best, if not the best album closers we have ever heard. “fin” is a bittersweet instrumental piano track.  This is one of the best, if  not the best album closers we have heard in a very very long time.
Watch the official video for “Stay Away” below.

Hot Mulligan Release Debut Album, “Pilot” March 23rd

Hailing from Northern Michigan, pop punk band Hot Mulligan are set to drop their highly anticipated debut album on March 23rd through No Sleep Records.  The four friends set their sights on world domination for 2018 and they don’t show any signs of slowing down.  Hot Mulligan’s first two singles off the new album are a taste of the high quality music they’ve got in store for the future. From their lyrics to their live show, Hot Mulligan are already making a name for themselves as an artist that you can’t ignore.

If the first two singles from “Pilot” are any indication, Hot Mulligan are going to have a permanent spot on our playlists for a long time.  The raw vocals match perfectly with the young bands’ musicality – something that usually takes a few records to nail down. Hot Mulligan hit it early on, setting themselves up for a solid career.

Be sure to catch Hot Mulligan on tour with Knuckle Puck and Boston Manor through April! Check out the dates below.

Knuckle Puck Announce “Calendar Days/Indecisive” Vinyl, Release “Indecisive”

Knuckle Puck are starting to tease some new music they have been hard at work on and they just released a brand new song called “Indecisive.”  The new song marks the first new music since their last album “Copacetic” came out in July 2015.   We love the Brand New and Dashboard Confessional influence in the new track but while some fans were worried the band had gone soft, the guys insist they haven’t lost their edge.  The brand new 7″ features two new singles “Calendar Days” and “Indecisive” is out now!

Listen to “Indecisive” below and decide for your self.

Pick up a copy of the “Calendar Days/Indecisive” 7″ on iTunes, Amazon or through the official Knuckle Puck merch store.
