The Band Perry Release New Single, “Live Forever”

Country sibling trio The Band Perry just released their brand new single, “Live Forever.”  Kimberly, Neil, and Reid officially debuted their new single live on Good Morning America last week. The band also released the music video for “Live Forever” over the weekend with  iHeartRadio and CMT premiering the song and video in heavy rotation with CMT playing the video every hour on the hour on their networks.

What’s so cool about the video is that they filmed parts of the video inside a new musical experience called THE CUBE.  This fully immersive experience features giant projection walls that play host to kinetic visuals.  Once you step inside THE CUBE, immediately you are put right inside The Band Perry’s single “Live Forever” from lights to visuals to the band playing on a centralized stage face-to-face with the fans.

James Maslow Premieres “Lies” on SoundCloud

James Maslow has taken the first step into the music world as a solo artist with a brand new single, “Lies” which he performed live for the first time at VidCon in Los Angeles.  He’s been busy in the studio writing songs for what we hope to be his debut solo album!   We can’t wait! James, may we suggest the album cover and name as “Breakout Dreams?” Although that really was too much cloud.

Listen to the single on James’ SoundCloud and watch James perform the song for the first time below!   We hope he’ll incorporate some choreography into his future performances, as well all know the man can DANCE.

Artist To Watch: Parlement

It’s been a while since we’ve had an “Artist To Watch” but Parlement is definitely one to keep your eye on.  This Spanish rock band just released a brand new video for their song “Little Liar” and we’re loving the fresh new music just in time for Summer!

Parlement have that nostalgic rock sound from the eighties and nineties that really dig into your ribs and make you dance along.  The band, consisting of singer Stefan, guitarist Javi, drummer Carlos, and bassist Raul, blended the best of gritty garage and smooth indie rock to create an album that we’ll be putting into heavy rotation!

Austin Mahone Premieres “Dirty Work”

REJOICE!!! Austin Mahone finally released new music for us just in time for the long holiday weekend!  The One Man Boyband’s new single, “Dirty Work” is filled to the brim with funky rhythms, a squealing horn section, and the smooth vocals we’ve come to love from Austin.  The track is so much fun – it’s soon to be Number 1 on your Summer playlist!

MKTO Debut “Bad Girls” Music Video

MKTO dropped a brand new song earlier this week and we didn’t have to wait very long for the premiere of their video! Malcolm and Tony have been hard at work on tour and writing new music since we saw them breakthrough last year with their infectious track “Classic.”  The brand new single, “Bad Girls” has a solid beat and a funky horn section that we’ll be dancing to all Summer long!  We love the music video, too.  Watch what happens when MKTO get kidnapped by some bad girls … who end up being fangirls.

It’s shaping up to be a very good Summer for country music fans!  We’ve got new albums on the way from Kacey Musgraves, Canaan Smith, A Thousand Horses… and now Luke Bryan just announced his latest, “Kill The Lights” will be released on August 7th!   Luke also premiered his new single, the namesake of his Summer Tour, “Kick The Dust Up” today.  Listen to the track below!  We think we’ve got another contender for Song of the Summer.

New Politics Release “West End Kids” From Upcoming Album “Vikings”

New Politics have just announced their third album and a brand new single to go with it!  The new album will be called “Vikings” and will be released on August 14th, 2015.

The new single is called “West End Kids” and we’re sure it’s in the running for “song of the summer” this year.  Known for their arena sized sing along choruses, the Danish band hail from the “west end” of Copenhagen and wanted to pay homage to their hometown in their brand new single.

Carly Rae Jepsen Performs New Track “All That” on SNL

Following the success of her newest single, “I Really Like You,” Carly Rae Jepsen made her  debut on SNL this weekend as the musical guest.  During the show, she premiered a brand new song from her upcoming album!  The new track,  “All That,” is an airy 80’s ballad that contrasts the upbeat singles she’s released previously.  It definitely shows off her softer side, as well as her vocal abilities.

New Hollow Release “Jiffy Jane”

We saw New Hollow at 106.1 BLI’s Summer Jam last year, and it was love at first listen.    We’ve been anxiously awaiting new music from them – their single “She Ain’t You” was one of our favorite tracks of 2014.    Evan West, Mookie Clouse and Chad Bashford have been busy writing with Blues Traveler and recording at Dave Grohl’s studio, so needless to say we know it will be worth the wait!   New Hollow just dropped their new single, “Jiffy Jane.”  Listen to the track below and pickup a copy on iTunes now!

New Hollow will also be a featured artist on Blues Traveler’s new album, “Blow Up The Moon,” out on April 7th!  Get ready, world, because New Hollow are about to take over.
