It’s real, y’all! Hunter Hayes just released a brand new song and music video! “Rescue” is about the people who help get you through a hard time. Hunter has been experimenting with new ways to release music in the last couple of years, rather than dropping full albums. This is is first new release since he dropped 3 songs last Fall. We caught him in concert last week and he told the crowd to expect even more new music from him this Summer!
The video features performance painter David Garibaldi, whom Hunter met at a CMA Foundation event. David is working on 3 canvases in the background as Hunter performs. He’s teaming up with Zappos For Good to release a line of shoes inspired by the paintings in the video, with proceeds going to charities including the CMA Foundation.
As usual, Hunter explains it best: “For me, “Rescue” is about people in my life who have shown up at a time I needed them the most but didn’t know. Times when I didn’t have strength and a conversation with a friend gave me strength. Every time I sing it, it’s a release and it’s a relief. I want the fans to hear whatever it is that rescues them whether that be a person, a place or even an experience. We can have so many different kinds of conversations with a song like this and I hope that this starts the dialogue. ”

Jake Miller just dropped the music video for his new single, “Parties.” In the video, directed by Edgar Esteves, Jake freezes time at a party as he keeps running into his ex. The track was written and produced by Jake, like most of the songs on his new album “2:00AM in LA.” The self-released album dropped last week and went right to the top of the iTunes charts. Jake just announced he’s revealing new North American tour dates on Monday so stay tuned! In the meantime, watch the video for “Parties” now!
Our new favorite boyband, Citizen Four, just released the music video for their latest single “Want You Back!” The video features Conner, Carson, Josh & Austin riding around on four wheelers and rocking some incredibly iconic 90s inspired fashion. We love how Citizen Four take everything we know and love about boybands (the harmonies, the smooth moves, the outfits) and find a way to make it their own! Watch the video for “Want You Back” below!
Broadside just released a brand new video for their latest high energy single “Paradise” and urge listeners to “Chase your paradise and value your time” in the title track to their sophomore effort due out June 16th. The video perfectly encapsulates the band’s fun loving personalities in a beach-y inflatable filled video that takes a peek into their fans’ version of paradise. Polaroids filter in and out throughout the video and are filled with beach scenes, mountain climbs, and family photos sent in by Broadside fans. Taking their own advice, the band chased their own paradise by relocating to Los Angeles!
It’s clear these guys care about their fans and treat them as equals, not just fans. Front-man Ollie Baxxter says “Life is a journey, and it should be documented and valued forever, so we wanted to give our fans an opportunity to share their version of paradise with us, and share their special moments in our music video. Richmond, VA is overflowing with musical talent, gracing the world with some of the most influential hard rock and metal bands to top the charts including GWAR and Lamb of God, Conditions, Carbon Leaf, even touting R&B artist D’Angelo as a Richmond resident! Our newest Artist to Watch is the pop punk band Broadside, natives of RVA who are currently based in Los Angeles.
Consisting of singer Ollie Baxxter, guitarists Dorian Cooke and Niles Gibbs, and bassist Pat Diaz, these four friends are no strangers to the road, coming together from the ashes of other projects. Broadside have honed their song writing skills and hands down, are releasing some of the most exciting and thought provoking pop punk songs we’ve heard to date!
The band is currently gearing up for the release their sophomore studio album “Paradise” on June 16th through Victory Records. The second official single, “Hidden Colors” kicks the album off with a bang and the video is filled with bright neon colors matching perfectly to their unorthodox love song. When asked about about the new single, vocalist Ollie explains “We wanted to represent the women in our life with the utmost respect and how grateful we are for them…‘Hidden Colors’ is about young lovers in the night. It’s about telling that person just what you appreciate about them. You can NEVER tell someone enough how much they actually mean to you.”

Ben Giroux, Jensen Reed & Jared Lee just released a music video tribute to the greatest decade of all time, the 1990s. The video stars Garrett Clayton as a boyband member, in a role that he was born to play. “Back To The 90s” is a catchy song that throws in everything you loved about the 90s in one four minute track that hits on all the musical styles of the decade.
