Hunter Hayes To Release “The 21 Project” on November 6th

Hunter Hayes has been busy thinking of creative ways to release new music.  Over the Summer, he rolled out a series of digital tracks to Spotify, completing the “21 EP.”  Hunter just announced he will release “The 21 Project” on November 6th!  The 3-disc album will consist of 7 songs, each performed 3 ways:  one acoustic, one studio, and one live.   Hunter wanted to show how a song grows from its original form to how it is played on stage.  If you’ve ever seen Hunter live, you know how he puts his own spin on tracks, changing things up each night on stage.  The project will feature Hunter’s current single, “21,” and new, unreleased tracks.  Check out the tracklisting below!

Dan + Shay’s “Just The Right Kind Of Crazy” Tour Hits Long Island

Dan + Shay’s “Just The Right Kind Of Crazy” Tour stopped at Emporium in Patchogue, NY over the weekend.  It’s the perfect name for a tour that blends the right amount of their signature pop country harmonies and crazy on stage energy!

Opening act Kelsea Ballerini infused lots of rock and roll energy into her pop-country sound.  Her 45 minute set included tracks from her debut album “The First Time,” including singles “Dibs” and “Love Me Like You Mean It.”  A highlight of her set was a 90s medley that included songs from *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears, encouraging everyone in the crowd to dance their craziest (or in our case, break out our boyband choreography).

Speaking of boy bands, Dan + Shay took us all back to middle school dance days with an outstanding cover of Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love To You,” complete with disco ball lighting.  The song highlighted Shay’s powerful voice and made us wonder what other 90s boy band jams we’d like to have them cover (answer: any and all of them, please.)  Their set also included some classic rock covers, from Def Leppard to Bon Jovi, and an energetic mashup of “Dynamite” and “Moves Like Jagger.”

We love watching Dan + Shay perform because of the passion and energy they bring to each show.  You can tell they are having a blast on stage and the excitement is infectious.  The packed house was singing and moving along to every word.  The duo are also great at interacting with the crowd, pointing out and singing along with fans, even stopping to take a rose from a man in the audience without missing a note.

Their set included nearly every song from their debut album, “Where It All Began.”  Dan + Shay mentioned they have been busy working on new music, and played fan favorite “Partner In Crime.”   We can’t wait for more music from our favorite duo!

Charles Kelley Announces “The Driver Tour”

Lady Antebellum singer Charles Kelley announced he’s releasing a solo project with a brand new single called “The Driver” featuring his pals Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay.  After wrapping up a huge Summer amphitheater tour with Lady A, Charles announced dates for an intimate run of club shows this Winter where anything goes! He’s bringing along country newcomer Maren Morris.  Tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, October 16th.

Chris Janson To Release “Buy Me A Boat” Album October 30th

Money can’t buy happiness but it can buy you a boat…or Chris Janson’s brand new album which is due out October 30th!  We’ve been eagerly awaiting new music from Chris, who seems like an overnight sensation but has been working and performing for years before his breakout single, “Buy Me A Boat,” was released earlier this year.  The album of the same name will feature 12 tracks, including a duet with none other than Tim McGraw.  Watch Chris’ announcement about the album below!

NashFM 94.5 Announces NASH BASH 2015 At Beacon Theatre

Nash Bash is BACK!  NashFM just announced they are hosting their next Nash Bash at the legendary Beacon Theater in New York City on October 26th.  Last year’s event brought Cole Swindell, Jana Kramer, Michael Ray, and Gloriana to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.  It’s by far one of the biggest country music parties in NYC!  This year’s lineup includes Lee Brice and Rodney Atkins.  Tickets are on sale now!

CMT Unveils Dates For Thomas Rhett & Brett Eldredge’s “Suits & Boots” Tour

We fangirled hard when CMT announced that they would be hosting a co-headlining tour with Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge this Fall!  The first set of dates for the tour were just revealed!  The tour will kick off at Terminal 5 in NYC on October 29th, with special guest Danielle Bradbery joining the boys on all dates.   Thomas and Brett will flip a coin each night to see who goes on stage first.  After all, with the success each artist has seen this year, how could you pick who is the marquee act?  The “Suits & Boots” Tour is in support of Brett’s album “Illinois,” out September 11th, and Thomas’ new album, “Tangled Up, ” due September 25th.  Check out all of the dates below.  Tickets go on sale starting Friday, September 11th.

Carrie Underwood Announces New Album, “Storyteller,” Out October 23

Carrie Underwood had been teasing fans all week with a “special announcement” to be made during a Facebook live chat.   During the chat, she reveled that she will be releasing her 5th studio album, “Storyteller,” on October 23rd!  The album got its name from its more traditional sound, which focuses on the story telling of country music.  This is Carrie’s first full-length release of new material since 2012’s hit “Blown Away.”

Carrie also released the lead single from the album, “Smoke Break,” to country radio and digital retailers.  Listen to the track below and pickup a copy on iTunes or Amazon now!
