Hot Mulligan’s new video for “How Do You Know It’s Not Armadillo Shells?” is a perfectly numbing mix of the bands trademark easy core rock and their visuals that always hit extremely close to home. The new track is the third song the band has released off their highly anticipated album “Pilot” dropping March 23rd through No Sleep Records.
When asked about the new single, singer Tades Sanville said “This song is about feeling bad at parties and social stuff, so we wanted to make a video that indicates just because nothing is wrong on the surface doesn’t mean there’s not something wrong in your head. Things can go from 0 to 100 really fast with no good reason.”
Watch the video for “How Do You Know It’s Not Armadillo Shells?” below.

We Were Sharks are heating things up ahead of their hotly anticipated album Lost Touch dropping on February 23rd through Victory Records. We can’t get enough of the Cananadian group’s refreshingly bright and equally melencholy sound on the new album. We got the chance to sit down with singer Randy Frobel during their headlining tour in Brooklyn, NY and he’s just as charming as you’d expect! We Were Sharks brought their high energy set to Gold Sounds Bar, showing NYC how Canada parties.
Watch our interview below and see what Randy’s favorite song on Lost Touch is, his must-haves on tour, and who caught him totally fangirling in Ottowa recently.

Rayvon Owen is pop’s newest It Boy for 2018 and rightfully so! His upbeat introspective tracks are a fresh take on life and love with his smooth vocals adding the true shimmer on everything he does.
Rayvon’s latest track, “Gold,” is about that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you first start to fall in love with someone. When asked about the track and his future EP, Rayvon says “What better feeling do you have? Falling in love is such a beautiful thing. I love singing about love in general — the good and the bad — I write sad songs too, which will be on the future project too. You’ll kind of see the whole gamut. But in that moment, we were feeling good and thankful.”
Not only is Rayvon a pop superstar in the making, he’s also extremely active within the LGBTQ+ community, partnering with the Trevor Project, Human Rights Campaign, and the POINT Foundation. “I was so afraid, being from the South and being black and coming from a more conservative area and growing up in an environment that is not very conducive to being gay or even questioning your sexuality,” Rayvon adds. When he came out and shared the news with his fans, he said they were influential in helping in him realize he made the right decision, “I would get a message from someone who would say this helped me come out to my parents, or saved me from taking my life. And it’s just like- ok, this is worth it.”
You’ll be hearing a lot from Rayvon in the coming months as he puts the finishing touches on his forthcoming project which he says will put a lot of himself on display and let the listeners get to know him as a person and artist. “People go through a lot every day and I think you can get really down when you’re only hearing negative things about what people are saying about you, or what people are doing to you. I think that the best thing you can do is to be yourself and I hope that people find that message through my music,” he says.
Jack & Jack just dropped an acoustic duet for their smash hit single “Beg” featuring former tourmate Olivia O’Brien. The original track, written by Lauv, has nearly 1 million Youtube/VEVO plays and over 15 million global streams to date. That’s a huge accomplishment given Jack&Jack only released their major label debut EP, “GONE” a year ago!
“Beg” marks the first single for Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky to hit Top 40 radio and caught the attention of Z100’s Elvis Duran. Elvis recently featured Jack&Jack on the TODAY Show as his “Artist Of The Month” for January 2018.

Our latest Artist To Watch, We Were Sharks are hitting the road early in 2018 to gear up for the release of their brand new album Lost Touch on February 23rd. The album is called Lost Touch but We Were Sharks haven’t lost touch with the genuine feeling and joy that pop punk brings to the entire scene.
“Beyond Repair” kicks off the album like shattering the glass walls surrounding the album. Lost Touch as a whole shows the obvious personal and musical growth of the band from their previous releases and brings them to the forefront of the genre. We Were Sharks are poised to take their rightful spot on the list of our favorite releases for 2018 so far.
“Hotel Beds” is a stand out track with the bouncey scream along chorus and contrasting verses. However, “Stay” is the pinnacle of the album. Lyrically and musically, “Stay” is the closest the band comes to radio perfection on the album which should be more than enough to push them through to Summer song playlist domination.
Broadside’s Ollie Baxter brings his sugary sweet vocals on “Late Bloomer.” The track centers on the topic of keeping a hold on things you loved when you were young. Ollie brings that something we were missing and really catapults the album through to the end.
Lost Touch is a solid listen start to finish filled with odes to the glory days of pop punk and sing along choruses. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for We Were Sharks!

We’ve all read the stories of that one member going solo to pursue their own music. Some flop and some float. Camila Cabello, like her many predecessors, is most certainly floating right now! Her impressive debut solo album, simply titled “Camila” clocks in a brisk 37 minutes of pure bliss.
While most of the narrative of Camila’s departure from having to harmonize with four subpar singers played out through 2017, she announced that she was releasing her debut solo album. As the album started to take shape and singles were released, new music was spilling from writing sessions among other things forcing the original release date to get pushed back.
All of this gave Camila full control over an album that would introduce her to a whole new audience. The album title changed, the sound of album changed, Camila released her now platinum single “Havana”, and ditched songs co-written and produced by the slick-ricks in favor of a sound that’s much more Cuban influenced, and much more distinct to the rising star.
After 4 or 5 full album listens, there is not one track on this album that we would dream of skipping! Each track has its own story and Camila navigates her way through all 10 tracks, ranging from Latin infusion to wistful piano ballads like a pro. “She Loves Control” is an early front runner for our favorite track. Produced by Skrillex, “Control” is definitely a “boss b*tch” track without being loud and in your face. It makes you want to hit the dance floor and what else – control it!
“Consequences,” “Something’s Gotta Give,” and “Real Friends” slow the album down on the back half, giving Camila a chance to fully wear her heart on her sleeve. On the hauntingly hollow acoustic “Real Friends,” you can hear just how much LA takes a toll on someone who has a pure heart and desire to make those real connections that you can only find in those who stuck by you when you were at the lowest points in your life.
Camila’s ability to make you feel every emotion at once is on full display on “In The Dark” – easily our number one favorite track on this entire album. “In The Dark” is where the real heart shines through asking “Who are you in the dark? Show me the scary parts,” you almost start answering her back because you don’t want her to keep wondering about you.
After forcing you to reach inside and dig deep, Camila closes her impressive debut album with a sultry synth twinged track “Into It.” This track makes us lose all control and dance like the weirdos we are, like nobody’s watching!
As a whole, “Camila” is a slow burn full of red hot tracks that could all very well be singles in their own right. Don’t believe us? Pick up a copy of “Camila” on iTunes or Amazon and we dare you to not dance along!
Pale Waves are a UK import of alt-pop force that will surely be one to be reckoned with in 2018. Having already played a sold out MSG on their first tour ever (with none other than The 1975), this quartet is gearing up for a massive year! Their dreamy sound is reminiscent of 80s synth pop with a hint of 2000s emo for good measure.
Consisting of Heather Baron-Gracie on vocals and guitars, Ciara Doran on drums, Hugo Silvani on guitar, and Charlie Wood on bass, Pale Waves just announced their first headlining tour for early Spring 2018 across the US.
The new tour is in support for their forthcoming EP “All Of The Things I Never Said” due out in February. Tickets for the tour go on sale January 12th at 10am local time.

We Were Sharks are Canada’s newest poster boys for the fast, aggressive, fun pop punk you know and love! After releasing their debut EP in 2012, solidifying a six man lineup, and amassing over 1 million plays on Spotify on their single “Bridge Burner,” We Were Sharks are poised to take a bite out of the American pop punk scene.
Consisting of Randy, Jason, Will, Steve, Josh, Colin, We Were Sharks spent the end of 2017 burning up highways with Carousel Kings and A Whilhelm Scream. The band is kicking off 2018 in style with a huge tour in support of their newest full length record, “Lost Touch,” due out February 23rd on Victory Records.
The third single from the new album, “Ashley,” is 82 seconds of pure fun! When asked about the single, vocalist Randy Frobel recalled: “Shooting the video for ‘Ashley’ was an absolute blast, dodging balls, dodging balls, Nerf darts, toilet paper and a few eggs for good measure, as an older loving couple wreak havoc on the neighborhood pranking everyone in sight. What more could you ask for? ‘ Ashley’ is a teen angst love song about that bad girl who lives a few houses down. You know she’s trouble, but she’s everything you dream about.”
