Throwback Thursday: Macy Misa on JONAS – The ULTIMATE Fangirl

If you watched JONAS on Disney (religiously like we did) then you’ll recognize Macy Misa on Ravenswood and have fond memories of her not so secret fangirling. Particularly in the episode “Love Sick”.  Macy goes on a date to a basketball game with a boy (Randolph) only to make him wear a curly wig (that she insisted was a hat), even making him dress like her celebrity crush/classmate – Nick Lucas (Nick Jonas).

Season 1 of JONAS was absolute GOLD and it’s a shame that they changed the writing and setting for season 2. The humor of season 1 captured the brothers so perfectly and was really a slight exaggeration of them in real life.

Nick says “I don’t come to these games is because I never meet anyone like myself”  and then this happens.

Macy Misa is the definition of “fangirl” and the textbook example of pretty much how NOT to act around your favorite celebs. Somehow her character went on to date Nick which only gives us that much more hope!

Hot Chelle Rae Announce New Single “Don’t Say Goodnight” On February 7th

Nashville natives Hot Chelle Rae recently announced that their next single called “Don’t Say Goodnight” will be released on February 7th.  We’ve been into HCR since “Lovesick Electric” and they keep putting out music that is bigger and better than before! Their live show never disappoints either!! We can’t wait for “Don’t Say Goodnight”!

The Vamps To Headline Gramercy Theater In NYC

The Vamps are coming to America AND they’re playing a show in NYC!!  They just announced a headlining show at Gramercy Theater on February 19th.

Finally, we get to sing and dance along to their catchy songs!!

American Authors Are Going On Tour!

Spring/Summer tour announces keep rolling in!!  Our Brooklyn boys in American Authors just announced that they will be supporting The Script and One Republic on the “Native Summer Tour” this spring! One Republic will be fresh off a European tour so I’m sure they’ll have tons of fun stories and wisdom for American Authors.

This looks like a fun tour with lots of cute boys!!

Hunter Hayes Debuts New Single “Invisible”

Hunter Hayes not only gave a killer performance at tonight’s Grammy Awards, he also premiered a new single!  The track, “Invisible,” has a great message and we’re thrilled to have new music from Hunter!   He is one of our favorite artists, and his talent and passion shine through everything he does. (We’re still amazed he played and recorded ALL of the instruments and vocals on his debut album, and plays 32 instruments and counting.)

Disney Orders A Full Season of “Girl Meets World”

While we are still (impatiently) waiting for an official air date for “Girl Meets World,” the sequel to the ultimate 90s coming of age show “Boy Meets World,” star Danielle Fishel revealed the show has been officially picked up by Disney Channel for a full season.

So far, the only release date we’ve been given from Disney is “sometime in 2014.”  We hope this good news means that the premiere isn’t too far away!  Ever since ABC Family stopped airing old “Boy Meets World” episodes on weekday mornings, we have been missing Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence in our lives. We’re sad they didn’t actually name their children “Chewbacca” and “Plankton” like Cory promised!

The show promises to have guest appearances from former cast members, which better include Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) and Eric Matthews (Will Friedle).   But fear not, according to IMDB, Mr. Feeny will be in at least 1 episode.

We hope the spinoff series will be just as iconic as the original!
