Patent Pending Release “Six Feet” Video

Patent Pending just released the brand new video for their song “Six Feet” and it’s pretty trippy!  The song is just as catchy as every song  PTPG have put out in the past.   It’s about working every day of your life, and the video has some neat special effects that set this video apart from the rest of PTPG’s past work.

The guys are heading back to the UK for Spring Break this April!  The guys are taking their new album, “Riot Hearts Rebellion” to the people and they’re ready to party.

The new album is full of party anthems (“Last Time That I Saw You”), kiss off tracks about being yourself (“Until The Sun Comes Up”),  and uplifting songs that will get you through the darkest times (“It’s All Good Today”)  They even work in a Blink-182 riff into “Started In My Head” which might be our favorite track on the album.  PTPG have a knack for writing hooks and lyrics that will have you bouncing along and singing for days! Let’s be real.  The best thing about the internet is when people share photos and videos of their pets.  We love that having an insta-famous dog is now an actual profession.  Here are some of our favorite dogs to follow on social media!

Dougie is SO CUTE!  And good at internet.  We had a really hard time deciding what to post for him, just do yourself a favor and go through his entire Instagram feed.

2. Marnie The Dog – @marniethedog
Marnie goes to more concerts than we do (and that’s saying a lot!)  She has lots of famous friends and even had a book come out last year!

106.1 BLI Announce 2016 Summer Jam Lineup With Fifth Harmony

Long Island’s 106.1 BLI is bringing Summer Jam back to Jones Beach for the 3rd straight year!  The mini-festival features sets from all your favorite artists on one stage.   The show is happening on Saturday, June 11th at the Nikon Jones Beach Theatre, AKA the absolute perfect Summer concert venue.  We’re already dreaming about a warm Summer night at the beach!  Check out this year’s lineup below.  Tickets go on sale next Thursday, March 24th!  And as always, stay tuned to 106.1 BLI for contests & more!

Dan + Shay To Perform on GMA March 18th

Country duo Dan + Shay are set to perform on Good Morning America this Friday, March 18th!  If you’re in NYC, head on down to the GMA Times Square studio or tune into GMA tomorrow morning to catch the  guys performing their brand new single “From The Ground Up!”  GMA airs from 7am to 9am on ABC.   We can’t wait to watch the national TV debut of their powerful new song.

Jacob Whitesides Announces “The Lovesick Tour”

Jacob Whitesides has had quite a year and it’s only March.  He’s been named an Artist To Watch from MTV, Pandora, and Spotify, as well as being named Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing” in 2016.  The rest of the year is shaping up to be a pretty monumental one that will see the release of his first single “Lovesick”  around April and a debut album from the 18-year-old powerhouse is set for release later this Summer!

Jacob will also be performing at Nickelodeon’s #Buzztracks concert in Los Angeles, CA at Hollywood & Highland Mall on March 19th. Click HERE for more info on this free concert with Megan Nicole and Conrad Sewell!

SWMRS Announce European Tour Dates

Tennis Tuesday: Indian Wells

All eyes are on the California desert as the first Masters 1000 event of the season is taking place this week in Indian Wells.  The BNP Paribas Open is one of our favorite tournaments of the year to watch.

The Americans have been making a splash at the tournament so far.  18-year-old Francis Tiafoe, one of the ATP World Tour’s #NextGen stars, was impressive in taking out Taylor Fritz and then playing a close match against world #18 David Goffin.  He may have lost but the match proved he could go toe-to-toe with a top 20 player.  Pittsburgh native Bjorn Fratangelo was also impressive in his match against Novak Djokovic, taking the first set 6-2 (no easy task) and fighting until the very end.   Be sure to catch fellow Americans John Isner, Sam Querrey, Stevie Johnson and Jack Sock in action today.

Nadal vs Verdasco
Verdasco may have beaten Rafa in the 1st round of the Australian Open earlier this year, but there’s no bad blood between the two.  The teamed up for doubles in Indian Wells, loosing to the Bryan Brothers in an entertaining match.  They’ll face off against each other again today, 3rd on Stadium 1.  Will Rafa get revenge?

Nick Carter’s “All American” Tour Hits NYC

Nick Carter’s “All American” Tour hit the Playstation Theatre in NYC over the weekend.  We expected Nick to give 300% on tour, as he does with everything he does, but he was even better than we expected.  The show was divided into three parts with a distinct style – rock star Nick played guitar to start off the night, he broke it down for a more acoustic set wearing a fedora, and ended the night showing off his dance moves.  The show gave Nick a chance to show off his range from boyband pop to rock and back again.

Nick managed to find the perfect balance between his solo material and Backstreet Boys songs.  He also threw in “One More Time,” from his project with Jordan Knight of NKOTB. While some solo artists refuse to even acknowledge the group or band they came from, Nick fully embraced his boyband heritage.  He understands that while the crowd is definitely there to support and hear Nick’s new music, odds are they are BSB fans as well.  This made for an insanely fun, high energy show as he surprised us with a mix of songs from all of his solo projects and a mix of Backstreet songs.  We all got to party like we were “19 in 99!”

Brian Littrell made a surprise appearance on stage, eliciting lots of 1999 level screaming from the audience.  He joined Nick for “I Want It That Way” and “Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely.” Honestly, the show could have ended right there, but the night was just getting started.  Brian also let it slip that the guys already have six songs recorded for the next Backstreet Boys album! They’re set to put the finishing touches on it very, very soon.

Nick got to show off his moves from “Dancing With The Stars,” breaking out into a salsa number after “The Call.”  He ended the night with a series of songs that showed of his lighter side – and Nick is clearly not afraid of make fun of himself or have a good time with his fans.  He’s no stranger to being in front of large crowds but that’s really where Nick Carter shines – on a stage with his fans singing along with him!

Good Charlotte Announce Club Tour Dates (!!!)

It’s been a while (TOO LONG) since the guys in Good Charlotte have been together but they are officially BACK!   They just announced a club tour hitting the East Coast in April!   The MD born & bred band have announced a few club dates for this Spring and we’re hoping they have a few more tricks up their sleeves (like a co-headliner tour with Simple Plan?  wink-wink!).  They also revealed that their new album will be released sometime this Summer, with the lead single dropping in April.

The revival of pop punk is just what we were hoping for for years since it disappeared in favor of dance and EDM music. Check out the Good Charlotte tour dates below!  Pre-sales begin Wednesday, March 16th at 10am while general on sales begin Friday March 18th at 10am local time.
