DigiFest NYC is back at Citi Field and this year Demi Lovato is headlining! The all day festival will feature some of your favorite Vine and Youtube stars like Jack & Jack, Lohanthony, and Macy’s Rising Star Competition’s Trevor Moran.

Jingle Ball is really the best time of the year! Nearly every big city has their annual Jingle Ball concert to get you in the holiday spirit but this year is going to be the best. We’ve spent most of the last 2 weeks at the US Open, our favorite time of the year. Here’s what we’ve been listening to this week! We’ll be back to regular blogging next week after the finals.
1. Demi Lovato – “Really Don’t Care”
We think this is the US Open DJ’s favorite song, because we heard it at least five times a day. Or maybe he’s just really excited about the Demi World Tour, which kicks off tomorrow?
2. MKTO – “Classic”
MKTO performed at Arthur Ashe Kids Day this year, getting the US Open off to a fun start with this classy jam.
3. Hunter Hayes – “Wildcard”
This should be the theme song for every player that gets a wild card into a tournament. Would have been a perfect song for Hunter to perform at Arthur Ashe Kids Day! But we were totally okay with hearing “Tattoo” twice. Tickets are on sale now for the “Tattoo (Your Name) Tour!”
4. Nick & Knight – “Switch”
We got a little break from the tennis action on Wednesday when we headed to Nick & Knight’s album release show at the Highline. The show was a preview of what to expect on their tour this fall, and trust us, you don’t want to miss it. Their harmonies, choreography, and bromance are amazing.
5. NKOTB – “Single” & Backstreet Boys “The One”
Another US Open DJ favorite is “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay. Which just brings back memories of the NKOTBSB tour opener mashup of NKOTB’s “Single” and Backstreet Boys’ “The One.” So naturally we just start singing NKOTBSB anytime we hear it.
The Vamps strip down to the bare essentials in this new acoustic video for “Somebody To You”. The guys recently sat down to record this special version of the song (sans Demi – maybe next time D-Love).

It’s a holiday weekend and no matter what your plans are, let’s celebrate #Murica with these five songs that should definitely be on your 4th of July playlist.
1. “Young in America” – Danielle Bradbery
There is nothing more American than country music, and we love the new single from country’s sweetheart Danielle Bradbery. The video features the common #Merica theme of a road trip, with lots of American flags waving.
2. “Light Me Up” – Hunter Hayes
“Baby you light me up like the fireworks flying on the 4th of July!” Hunter will be performing on the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC this year, and we hope he’ll be bringing back this track from his “Encore” album, and playing his new single “Tattoo!” Since most of the East Coast will be dealing with Hurricane Arthur tomorrow, at least now you won’t have to feel bad if your July 4th plans revolve around staying in to watch Hunter perform! Other performers include Miranda Lambert, Ariana Grande & Lionel Richie.
3. “American Dream” – MKTO
MKTO’s American Dream Tour got its name from their new single, which the guys just performed on Good Morning America. But this isn’t the same summer song you used to know. MKTO question what ever happened to the American Dream, and why Jack left Diane. They were Born to Run Cali here we come. (The song is also extremely catchy and quotable…sounds like the perfect summer song to us!)

4. “Made in The USA” – Demi Lovato
As far as “songs about America” go, this one was made to be on your 4th of July playlist. Name dropping Chevy? Check. Because aren’t all good things “Made in the USA?” Demi’s video for this song is also very American: girl meets boy at a carnival and they fall in love. What’s more American than meeting the love of your life at a carnival!? Nothing. That’s what.
5. “Make It In America” – Victoria Justice
This is the ultimate summer road trip song and video, featuring the entire cast of Victorious! Another requisite for making a #Merica song is apparantly referencing “Born to Run.” Which should already be on your playlist. “I wanna taste the sun case baby I’m Born to Run!”

BONUS: “Party In The USA” – Miley Cyrus
No matter how hard she tries….Miley will never be able to erase this song from the internet or her discography. It reaches the Top 10 on iTunes every 4th of July so she can’t complain too much. This song had a bunch of parodies and spoofs but our favorite is “Party In The F.I.P.” Watch it below in case you’ve been under a rock for the past 5 years.

Demi teased the announcement last night on Twitter, posting “No Sleep ‘Til Brooklyn” with a shot of the Barclays Center stop. Demi is in NYC this week for her Dance on the Pier performance for Pride Week this Saturday.

The Vamps just premiered the new video for their next single, “Somebody To You” and it features none other than Demi Lovato! The song is the perfect summer anthem and we knew as soon as we heard it, that it was going to be a radio hit. The video is the ultimate summertime party, with the guys performing and having a beachside BBQ, watching some tennis and lounging by the pool. Before they join Demi Lovato’s World Tour this fall, breakout group MKTO are heading out on a North American tour this summer! Former “As The Bell Rings” cast member, Tony Oller, and former “Lost” cast member Malcolm D. Kelley, came together to form the duo. We caught MKTO at 106.1 BLI’s Summer Jam 2014 this year and they know how to get a crowd on it’s feet. These guys really connect with their fans and had Jones Beach rocking as the sun went down!
Tiffany Houghton and Action Item will be joining MKTO on tour, making it a perfect summer lineup.
