5 Seconds Of Summer Release “Amnesia” Lyric Video

We’ve been dying for 5SOS to announce their next single and it’s finally here!!  “Amnesia” has been named the next song off the Australian pop punk band’s highly anticipated debut album and the guys already have a lyric video up! This single is about wishing they could wake up and forget that you broke up with them. (Who would leave doe-eyed Luke?! Not us.) The band still maintain their pop punk roots, they’re just exploring the softer side. Next time, maybe they could add some cute puppies to the video. Then again, that might be cute-overload.

Australian pop punk band 5SOS just released a brand new single in the US called “Kiss Me Kiss Me” and it’s already on repeat in the Secret Fangirl offices.  Listen to the new single below!

“Kiss Me Kiss Me” is released on the heels of announcing a second show in Mexico for the band, and leading up to the release of their full length album on July 22nd! 5SOS To Perform on The Today Show July 22nd!

Just announced!  Australian pop punk band 5SOS will be performing on The Today Show on Tuesday, July 22nd!  If you want the chance to see the mini concert, head to Rockefeller Center in NYC no later than 7AM that morning.   We suggest getting there MUCH earlier, as we’re sure that tons of fans will want to see them, especially after their sold out Stars, Stripes & Maple Syrup Tour!   This show should be even more special since it’s happening on the day their debut album is released!  You can pre-order on iTunes now!

The Today Show usually releases Fan Passes for their concert series.  Make sure you sign up for the Today Show Concert Series Newsletter so you can be the first to find out.  A Fan Pass is awesome and gives you a space closest to the stage.  (You’ll still need to arrive before 6AM to claim your spot!)

5SOS “Don’t Stop” Music Video!

Following their major performance last night at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, 5SOS released the music video for their new single, “Don’t Stop!”  Watch the superhero themed video below!

5SOS Announce Worldwide Release Dates for Debut Album!

Australian band 5SOS announced the international release dates for their self-titled debut album, out this summer!   We can’t wait! After catching an incredible show on the Stars, Stripes and Maple Syrup Tour, we’re so excited to have new music from the pop-punk band. Read their note to fans below, posted on the band’s Tumblr page:

“After three years, we finally get to tell you that… WE HAVE AN ALBUM !!! you can preorder from midnight (local time!) weds 14th may !! everyone that does preorder it on iTunes will get to download a new track from the album straight away 😉 and you’ll also get a bunch of other tracks to hear & own before the release!

On the heels of their sold out North American “Stars Stripes and Maple Syrup” tour, Australian band 5SOS released the lyric video for their newest single, “Don’t Stop”.  It’s filled with catchy hooks and infectious melodies that are signature for the even the best pop punk songs! The song has us wanting to get up and dance on the subway platform every time we hear it.

5SOS Announce New Single “Don’t Stop”

5SOS announced via Instagram that their new single will be “Don’t Stop!”

The single will be available on April 30th for pre-order!   Sorry North America … it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer, but at least we have lots of new concert videos to watch in the meantime!

5SOS just wrapped up their first North American Headlining tour aka the Stars, Stripes and Maple Syrup Tour.  (We love how they name their tours).  Check out our recap of their NYC show!

1. Jackson Guthy – Pretty Lady
We were introduced to Jackson Guthy on the BTR Summer Break Tour last summer and after sitting through his set two times, we were totally into every single song by the third go around! His songs are infectious and catchy. Get to the 5SOS tour early because Jackson is definitely an opening act you’ll want to know. Grab a copy of Jackson’s new song “Young & Single” on iTunes now!

2. The Vamps – Girls On TV
At their first headlining show here in NYC, The Vamps played a few new songs from their debut album “Meet The Vamps” (out now in Ireland, the UK and most of Europe on Monday!). One of those was Girls On TV. It’s got a reggae feel, but still displays The Vamps acoustic driven sound. Pick up a copy of “Meet The Vamps” on iTunes UK now! 3. Cody Simpson – Surfboard
One of our favorite stars on this seasons Dancing With The Stars, Cody Simpson, released his new single “SURFBOARD” to great reviews. We can’t say enough awesome things about Austin Mahone but we’ll keep trying. The one man boyband recently celebrated his 18th birthday by announcing his debut album “The Secret” as well as announcing a headlining tour featuring The Vamps and Fifth Harmony. Tickets are on sale now and with every ticket order, you receive a digital copy of Austin’s album!
