Demi Lovato Announces New Album Out October 16, 2015

Demi Lovato teased fans with an announcement on social media yesterday, with a video called “One More Thing.”  She then tweeted “1. Confident” and had all of her famous friends, from Nick Jonas to Hailee Steinfeld, get in on the fun to help slowly reveal the tracklisting for her new album!  Demi’s 5th album, “Confident,” will be released this October!  The album features her latest single, “Cool For The Summer.”  Check out the full tracklisting below!

Andy Grammer Releases “Good To Be Alive”

Andy Grammer has been having a great Summer, with the success of his infectious single “Honey I’m Good.”   When we are in need of a go-to, feel good, singalong jam, Andy is our man.  His latest track, “Good To Be Alive (Hallelujah)” is no exception.  It’s impossible to listen this song and not break into a smile and start singing and clapping along.  The track was co-written by Ryan Met from AJR, who recently finished a tour with Andy & American Authors.  Listen to the track below!

Carrie Underwood Announces New Album, “Storyteller,” Out October 23

Carrie Underwood had been teasing fans all week with a “special announcement” to be made during a Facebook live chat.   During the chat, she reveled that she will be releasing her 5th studio album, “Storyteller,” on October 23rd!  The album got its name from its more traditional sound, which focuses on the story telling of country music.  This is Carrie’s first full-length release of new material since 2012’s hit “Blown Away.”

Carrie also released the lead single from the album, “Smoke Break,” to country radio and digital retailers.  Listen to the track below and pickup a copy on iTunes or Amazon now!

The Friday Five: Zac Efron’s Greatest Roles

It’s a known fact that we will go see anything starring Zac Efron.   Plot?   Doesn’t matter.  His newest movie, “We Are Your Friends,” hits theaters next week.  Zac plays an aspiring DJ who just needs that 1 track to make it big time.  In honor of the new film, here’s a look at some of Zefron’s greatest roles.

1. “Summerland”
Zac’s first major role, alongside Jesse McCartney and Danielle Panabaker.  Seriously, what do we need to do to get this show on Netflix or Hulu?

2. “High School Musical”
One of the greatest musical numbers of all time.

3. “17 Again”
This movie has the 3 essential ingredients of a successful Zefron film: dancing, basketball, and (un)necessary shirtless scenes.

4. “Neighbors”
The only thing better than a Zefron movie is one that also stars Dave Franco!  Look out for the sequel next year.

5. “We Are Your Friends”
We love that Zac & the cast promoted the movie with screenings and after-parties across the country, giving the fangirls what they want.

Canaan Smith just released the video for his next single, “Hole In A Bottle.”  The track is one of our favorites form his debut album, “Bronco,” and follows the success of his lead single, “Love You Like That,” which went to #1.   We can see “Hole In A Bottle” hitting the top spot as well!  Canaan will often kick off his live set with the upbeat track, getting the crowd to dance along from the start! The Band Perry Release New Single, “Live Forever”

Country sibling trio The Band Perry just released their brand new single, “Live Forever.”  Kimberly, Neil, and Reid officially debuted their new single live on Good Morning America last week. The band also released the music video for “Live Forever” over the weekend with  iHeartRadio and CMT premiering the song and video in heavy rotation with CMT playing the video every hour on the hour on their networks.

What’s so cool about the video is that they filmed parts of the video inside a new musical experience called THE CUBE.  This fully immersive experience features giant projection walls that play host to kinetic visuals.  Once you step inside THE CUBE, immediately you are put right inside The Band Perry’s single “Live Forever” from lights to visuals to the band playing on a centralized stage face-to-face with the fans.
