The Vamps “Somebody to You” EP Out August 4th; Today Show July 24th!

Get ready America because  The Vamps are coming!  Following their rocking show at the Highline Ballroom in NYC, British band The Vamps just announced the “Somebody To You” EP will be released on August 4th!    The EP will be available on iTunes and The Vamps store, and you can pre-order starting today! Or you can always order from both:  each site will be selling exclusive tracks!  (We’re going to need both copies!)

The Vamps Today Show Concert July 24th!
The Vamps will also be performing on The Today Show  on Thursday, July 24th to kick off their US tour with Austin Mahone!  Want to watch The Vamps perform live in NYC?   Let The Today Show know you want to see them perform outside!  Sign their Twitition, send the Today show an email, or tweet the Today Show using  #TVOutsideOnTheTodayShow!   If enough people get involved, The Vamps will perform outdoors in the plaza, so you can be in the audience!   Stay tuned for updates.

5SOS To Perform on The Today Show July 22nd!

Just announced!  Australian pop punk band 5SOS will be performing on The Today Show on Tuesday, July 22nd!  If you want the chance to see the mini concert, head to Rockefeller Center in NYC no later than 7AM that morning.   We suggest getting there MUCH earlier, as we’re sure that tons of fans will want to see them, especially after their sold out Stars, Stripes & Maple Syrup Tour!   This show should be even more special since it’s happening on the day their debut album is released!  You can pre-order on iTunes now!

The Today Show usually releases Fan Passes for their concert series.  Make sure you sign up for the Today Show Concert Series Newsletter so you can be the first to find out.  A Fan Pass is awesome and gives you a space closest to the stage.  (You’ll still need to arrive before 6AM to claim your spot!)

Austin Mahone Premieres “Next To You,” From Debut Album “The Secret!”

It feels like we’ve taken forever to get here, but we are finally less than ONE WEEK away from the release of Austin Mahone’s debut album, “The Secret!”

Austin just unveiled another track off the album called “Next To You,” and it’s AMAZING.  It has the 90s boy band sound that Austin the one man boy band has been channeling, but with a modern edge.  We cannot wait to see him perform this one live. (P.S. please play it next weekend at BLI Summer Jam!)

The track almost sounds like someone had written it for *NSYNC back in the day, dusted it off, and updated for Austin.  Listen closely – can’t you just picture that classic *NSYNC lean and drop in the choreography?

You can pre-order “The Secret” on iTunes now and get an instant download of “MMM Yeah,” “Till I Find You,” and “All I Ever Need!”  The full album, including “Next To You,” will be released on Tuesday, May 27th!

“Today” Show Summer 2014 Concert Series Lineup!

The lineup for one of our favorite summer traditions, the “Today” Show Toyota Concert series was revealed today!   The schedule includes SecretFangirls.com favorites Austin Mahone, Ed Sheeran and Pharrell.

We’ve seen many great “Today” Show concerts over the years:  Big Time Rush, Hilary Duff, Hunter Hayes, Jonas Brothers, New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, 98 Degrees, and more.   It’s totally possible to squeeze in a quick concert before work/school/etc.  Our philosophy?  Are you going to look back and think “gee, I’m so glad I was well rested for work that random Summer Friday!”  Or “hey, remember that time James from BTR signed my coffee cup at 6am?”

Fangirl Tip!  Sign up for the Today Show Concert Series newsletter  – a few days before each concert, they will send out an email asking if you are interested in a Fan Pass.  The Fan Pass is awesome and allows you priority access and to be closest to the stage, without having to wait as long in line. (You’ll still need to be there before 6AM!)
