Demi Lovato Announces Fall 2014 World Tour Dates with MKTO!

After wrapping up her successful “Neon Lights” tour across North & South America, Demi Lovato just announced she will be going on a world tour this fall!  She’s bringing along MKTO and Christina Perri as opening acts.

This isn’t the first time Demi Lovato and MKTO singer Tony Oller have worked together! Remember their Disney debut, on the short series “As the Bell Rings?”  (We still prefer the French version of this show, “Trop La Classe”)  Who knows?  Maybe they’ll reprise their duet, “Shadow.”

The Vamps & Demi Lovato Team Up for “Somebody To You!”

The Vamps just released their next single, “Somebody to You!”  While she’s not featured on the album version,  Demi Lovato teamed up with the Vamps for the single release!  Listen to the track below!

While we enjoy the new version, the original will still be the only one we’ll have blasting through the secret fangirl office all summer long!  Unfortunately we are still (impatiently) waiting for a US album release date, and will hopefully have one soon!  In the meantime you can get their single “Wild Heart” on iTunes now!

The Vamps will be back in the US for a headlining show in NYC on June 15th, before they join Austin Mahone on tour later this summer!

Good Morning America Summer 2014 Concert Series Lineup!

Good Morning America revealed their Summer Concert series lineup this morning! While we’re a little disappointed by the lack of boy bands and other Secret Fangirl favorites, it’s still a solid lineup. And we always love to see country artists in New York!

All shows are free and take place at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park. Just make sure to line up (early!) before the shows 7am start time to guarantee a space. Only the Jennifer Lopez and 50 Cent concerts will require an advance (free) ticket. Stay tuned for details. Unlike the Today Show concert series, there are no “fan passes” for GMA concerts. Attendees are encouraged to enter the park via the 72nd Street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6am, when the park opens to the public.

As we said in our Today Show Summer Concert announcement, what better way to start your day by than seeing your favorite artist before work/school etc?

Happy Friday!  Here’s what we’ve been listening to this week.

5.  Demi Lovato – “Trainwreck”
We’re seeing the Neon Lights Tour tonight, and hoping that she’ll bring back this classic from her first album

4. Justin Timberlake – “Murder”/”Poison” Mashup
If you haven’t caught JT’s 20/20 Experience Tour yet, what are you waiting for?  This mashup of “Murder” and Bell Biv Devoe’s “Poison” is a highlight in the nearly 3-hour show.

3.  Austin Mahone – “Till I Find You”
We caught Austin’s Artist to Watch Tour at Hammerstein Ballroom this week, and immediately fell in love with this song.  It sounds like something NSYNC could have released, which is always a good thing!  But Austin (the one man boy band) has yet another winner with this song.  When is his album coming out again?!  We’ve been waiting so long!!

2.  Dan + Shay – “What You Do To Me”
This song was released once pre-orders went live for their debut album, “Where It All Began,” out April 1st.  And we immediately listened to it 5 times in a row.  We love what we’ve heard from Dan + Shay so far, and can’t wait for more!

1.  Austin Mahone – “What About Love”
Yes, Austin gets to be on this list twice because his show at Hammerstein Ballroom was just that good.  We’re still trying to learn the “What About Love” dance.  Maybe Austin can teach us next tour?
