Australia is on a hot streak with exports and their latest, The Faim, are bringing their brand of pop rock with a side of on stage charisma that could fill an arena. We caught them at the Gramercy Theatre on their tour opening for Andy Black, which wraps up this week in Virginia Beach.
Armed with an arsenal of new music and enough energy to power Manhattan, The Faim are here and they will not be ignored. Frontman Josh Raven commanded the stage with swagger and poise, drawing the crowd in from the start, even walking off the stage and connecting directly with the crowd in the middle of the pit.

The Faim, singer Josh, guitarist Sam Tye, bassist/keyboardist Stephen Beerkens, and drummer Linden Marissen felt more like the headliner than an opener but we bet they’ll be in that headliner slot sooner rather than later.
They will be back in Australia and Europe over the Summer. Check out all of their upcoming tour dates here! We’re hoping to see them back in the States soon!

Shiffley have been keeping it low key, working on new music behind the scenes. We’re excited to present the premiere of their latest single and brand new music video for “Instinct Over Mind.”
The piano driven ballad showcases the stripped back evolution of the synth pop group. Directed and edited by bassist Shaune Killough, the music video focuses on singer, Alex Ganes as he pours his heart out on a grand piano to an empty auditorium.

Former BTR member, current heartthrob, James Maslow is hitting the ground running this Spring with a BELLA Magazine cover and a brand new single called “Love U Sober.” The new track is an upbeat, euphoric track about James’ life and past relationships and his struggle with differentiating between love and lust.
When asked about what the new music, James said, “A large portion of the music I’m going to put out is influenced by my past relationships. ‘Love U Sober’ acknowledges the fact that I was in a relationship with someone and we had so much fun, but after many months, I began to question it. The sad part was the connection wasn’t as real as I thought; it was masked by the emotion of partying. Saying I want to love you sober might be more literal than people realize.”
James is also the cover star of BELLA Magazine’s latest issue which is now available in Barnes&Noble nationwide. The cover story features an indepth tell-all about his new music, inspirations, and what fans can expect from him in 2019. He just wrapped filming on “Wolfhound,” a WWII action film, as well as “My Boyfriend’s Meds” starring alongside Jaime Camil, Sandra Echeverria, Jason Alexander and Brooke Shields, slated for release August, 30th, 2019.

Richmond, VA is proving itself to be a breeding ground for pop punk standing toe to toe with NY/NJ, Florida, and SoCal areas. Telltale are releasing their second EP, “Timeless Youth” on Friday, April 26th through SharpTone Records.
Telltale’s sophomore EP draws inspiration from the likes of New Found Glory, Broadside, Neck Deep, and Blink-182 capturing the youthful angst of growing up in a small town and desperately wanting to leave.
“What We Life For” is packed with catchy riffs and a danceable bridge that will have you speeding down the freeway with the windows down all Summer long. Followed up by “Letting Go,” Telltale introduce sachrine elements of country storytelling and cadance into their reportoire with an arena sized sound.
When asked about the record, singer John Carter said, “Growing into your late teens and early twenties, you lose a lot of friends in more ways than one. You take blame for mistakes that aren’t yours and you forget what it’s like to know the freedom of naivety. ‘Timeless Youth’ is about retaining a sense of wanderlust, even when you feel confined to a certain path.”
Telltale hit a comfortable stride with self depreciating, scream-along choruses in “Dazy” and “Rose” while closing the album with a slower introspective track, “Hereditary” that picks up and releases all of the built up tension and emotion in one fell swoop.
Telltale haven’t been around as long as some of their peers but they can teach them all a thing or two about catchy hooks and a live show that’s a force to be reckoned with.

The new era of boybands are rolling in with infectious tunes galore! Adding their name into the mix are RØYLS, the brainchild of Sean Kileen (Over Atlantic), Liam Ross (Over Atlantic), and Drew Dirksen (The Tide) who are no strangers to the industry. Hailing from across the gobe, Sean is from the UK, Liam is from Washington, and Drew is from Ohio, RØYLS met in LA in the Fall of 2018 and instantly clicked as songwriters.
Their debut single, “Savages,” co-written by the legendary songwriter/producer, John Feldmann (5SOS, Good Charlotte, Blink-182, and more) is just a glimpse of what the guys have been working on. “We feel passionate about the music we’re creating and the sound we’ve been developing the past months. It’s been exciting how natural & authentic the songs have been coming out and how great it’s been writing them together. We’re stoked to get the out into the world.”
Oakland, CA bred SWMRS dropped their sophomore album, “Berkeley’s On Fire” through Fueled By Ramen earlier this year and Cole, Max, Joey, and Seb have been on a meteoric rise ever since. The childhood friends just teamed up with Vevo for two exclusive live performances of their latest singles “April In Houston” and “Too Much Coffee.”
SWMRS blend their loud and fast style with the social conscientiousness that’s been missing from music. When asked about the writing process for the latest record, co-frontman Cole Becker explained, “When we were writing these songs we were very conscious of our role in creating a space for people to escape the nonstop negative media cycle.”

Chase Atlantic are gearing up for a huge Summer! The Aussies just announced a massive headlining tour hitting cities across North America ahead of the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, “Phases,” due out June 28th, 2019.
When asked about the album, frontman Mitchel Cave said, “This album feels as though it is truly a work of astronomical measures,” he adds. “It’s the first time we were able to honestly and openly hone into something so monumentally special and raw without compromising even an inch of our integrity as artists. We’ve developed a completely new sound within a matter of months that has never been tapped into before. Chase Atlantic is now dwelling within a realm of its own; it’s both scarily isolating and blissfully euphoric at the same time. Welcome to a whole new era.”
