Buffalo, NY’s hardcore heavyweights, Better Lovers, announced recently that they’re joining Poison The Well’s 25th Anniversary Tour for “The Opposite Of December” this Spring. Hitting the road with them are Long Island hardcore icons glassjaw and one of our favorite rising bands out of California, Teenage Wrist.

Jack’s Mannequin Announce 2025 Tour

Andrew McMahon, yes, the same from Something Corporate and Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness, is bringing his piano driven pop rock outfit Jack’s Mannequin back around for the Summer and beyond!

We caught SoCo last Summer but somehow have never seen Jack’s Mannequin so this 20 year celebration of the band will be one for the books!

They’re touting their wildly successful “Face Value Ticket Exchange” to try and help keep scalpers at bay. The band used this type of exchange on the Something Corporate run and it was very helpful for fans looking to get a last-minute ticket from another fan who couldn’t make the show anymore. We wish more artists would expand and test out this kind of ticket exchange if we’re honest.

Check out the tour dates below and grab yours while they last. VIP packages are also available and include exclusive merch items like a poster and a “Made For Each Other” merch item, a laminate, access to a soundcheck party and a photo opp with Andrew. Concert tickets are NOT included in the VIP package so you need to purchase those separately to join in the VIP fun!

New Kids On The Block Bring The Magic To Jones Beach

“We keep coming back because you keep coming back!!”  The sentiment that Donnie Wahlberg shared towards the end of New Kids on the Block’s two hour set rings more true each time they tour.  Since NKOTB officially reunited in 2008, Blockheads have indeed kept coming back to see their five bad brothers from the Beantown land and they aren’t going anywhere any time soon.  The Magic Summer tour was an homage to their 1990 tour of the same name, bringing us all back to a simpler time.

DJ Jazzy Jeff kicked off the night on a high note, hopping on stage right as the rain was ending which was lucky considering it had been pouring all day in Jones Beach (and this is a New Kids concert after all!).  Playing all of the hits including “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” theme, Jeff hit all of the right notes getting the crowd hype and ready for an incredible, magical summer night!

Paula Abdul hasn’t toured too much as an artist but we’ve been lucky enough to see her several times and she is forever our girl! Paula is one of our favorite opening acts and as she took us through her creative process for putting a tour together from the setlist, to the costumes, to holding auditions for her dancers, she is still at the top of her game!

Opening their Jones Beach show with some brand new songs off their latest record, “Still Kids” was a bold move but NKOTB know their fans and their fans know every word to every song.

NKOTB have always kept us on our toes with their stage design and how they’ll make the next event better and more unique than anything we’ve seen before. For the Magic Summer Tour 2024, they introduced some of the best seats in the house – the Magic Seats.  They included a handful of lucky fans in their pre show huddle right before they go on stage and then the fans got to watch the first several songs FROM THE STAGE!!!  Talk about having a close seat!

As Donnie, Joey, Jordan, Jonathan, and Danny sang and danced their way through the extensive New Kids catalogue, you could tell how much fun they were having interacting with the fans on stage.

In classic NKOTB fashion, they included the fan favorite, quick change cam. This year it’s branded as “Club Quick Change” complete with a shiny wall and funky club disco lights!  Donnie and Danny of course were hamming it up the most.

Joey brought out his eldest son, Griff, for a sweet moment harmonizing together as his son played the piano and an outstanding duet of “New York State of Mind”.  At the risk of sounding like our parents’ friends, “I remember when he was so young with the big headphones and cried he was so nervous on stage.”   And now he totally owns it, just like his dad!

How many times is too many to sing “la la la la tonight” because we definitely didn’t hit that at Jones Beach!  Donnie joked that we set a world record for the most times, but I think we would have stayed there all night singing anything and everything with them.

What we love most about NKOTB is they go for it 100% and give it their all night after night.  They know and love their fans better than anyone, and we love them right back!   We’ll be loving them forever and will be hangin’ tough until the next time their tour hits in the summertime.

Big Time Rush Bring “Can’t Get Enough Tour” To NY’s Jones Beach Theater

BIG TIME RUSH IS BACK, BABY!  No matter how many times we say it, it still feels surreal. Kendall, James, Logan, and Carlos brought their “Can’t Get Enough Tour” to Jones Beach on Sunday night and proved they are back better than ever and here to stay.  The key to any successful reunion is honoring where you came from, but also moving forward and bringing something new to the mix, and their tour is the perfect mix of both.  BTR hit the road in support of their brand new album, “Another Life,” which is a perfect infectious summer pop album.

Viral TikTok sensation, Jax along with her bandmates, drummer Jess Bowen (The Summer Set) and guitarist Nash Overstreet (Hot Chelle Rae) kicked the show off with style. Floating between heartfelt ballads, her “other people’s POV” covers like “Teenage Dirtbag (Noelle’s Version),” and her singles, “Cinderella Snapped” and “Victoria’s Secret”, Jax took in the energy of the venue and sang her heart out.

NYC native, MAX took the stage next and really set it off with hits “Love Me Less” and “Holla” and absolutely nailed Suga’s Korean rap from their smash collaboration “Blueberry Eyes.” He even debuted an unreleased song called “Strings” and had everyone dancing the entire time!  If you’ve seen MAX on tour before, you know he always ends with a singalong to “Mug Shot,” and brings the energy up to a 15 with his smooth moves and incredible voice.

By the time Big Time Rush hit the stage, the crowd was warmed up and ready to sing and dance the night away! The second the lights dropped, the wall of fangirl screams erupted in full force feeding every ounce of energy to the guys on stage and them cycling it back to the fans, proving that even after all these years, New York shows feel like hometown shows for James, Kendall, Logan, and Carlos, who were headlining Jones Beach for the 4th time in their career and the first time in 10 years!

Playing new music from their latest, independently released record, “Another Life” felt like they’re in their element now more than ever! James shared that when they got back together, they weren’t sure what their sound was going to be.  The guys kept writing until they narrowed down 10 tracks that they felt encompassed where they are and the sound they always wanted.

“Forget You Now” is a moody, bass driven track that’s reminiscent of early 00s boybands, that really lets Logan Henderson show off his vocal chops. It’s become a quick fan favorite, even prompting an on-going Twitter thread compiling videos of the moment from each city on tour.

“Ask You Tonight” is an acoustic, 98 Degrees-esque love song that builds the case for proposing right then and there. Lyrically, “You’re the only one I wanna love/ the only one this I promise ya” will make anyone swoon and say YES immediately!  We’ve loved all of the music BTR has put out since the reunion – it sounds true to their boyband roots but fresh and new at the same time.

BTR also played the classics like “Nothing Even Matters” and “Elevate” but the shining star of this tour is “Shot In The Dark” which is a track that was previously only ever heard in one episode the Nickelodeon TV show that launched the boyband. Fans have been begging for them to play it live and they finally, happily obliged, delighting the diehards and casual fans alike.

Jones Beach Theater is one of the coolest venues we’ve ever been to, with it’s beachside location surrounded by water on three sides.  It makes for an incredible setting for a show, but being fully outdoors there is no place to hide if it rains.  After a day of on and off showers, the rain held off for most of BTR’s set but it started downpouring just before the encore.  Not a single person of the nearly 15,000 in attendance left their seats as the crowd continued to dance to “Big Time Rush” and “Big Night.”

The boys even ran out to perform “Windows Down” out in the crowd, getting just as soaked as all of the fans in attendance. It was a big, big, big, big, big night indeed, one that we’ll never forget!

The key to Big Time Rush’s success has always been them doing their best to stay authentically themselves in spite of the odds. The fans fell in love with the show, but they’re still coming back and packing out venues across North America in droves to support Carlos, James, Kendall, and Logan with the same passion that never disappeared after so many years away.

We’ll be loving Big Time Rush forever and can’t get enough of the feeling of seeing them on stage!  The energy and passion from the band and fans alike is infectious and will make you want to party all the time!

Check out the rest of the tour dates on BTR’s official site and come feel the big time rush for yourself!
