YUNGBLUD Releases Debut Album “21st Century Liability”

Dominic Harrison, professionally known as YUNGBLUD is coming out of the gates swinging with infectious poppy melodies and hip hop beats contrasting with dark angsty lyrics on his first full length album.  He’s had major success with tracks like “I Love You, Will Ya Marry Me” which documents the tragic love story of a man who proposed to his girlfriend with graffiti on Sheffield’s Park Hill bridge.  YUNGBLUD also has two tracks, “Falling Skies” and “Tin Pan Boy” featured on the 13 Reasons Why: Season 2 soundtrack.

With a debut album just released through Locomotion/Geffen Records, massive crowds at the final cross country 2018 Vans Warped Tour, and word of mouth praise from every corner of the globe, YUNGBLUD is destined to be a star with a great career on the very near horizon.

While the album has radio friendly bouncey pop tracks like “Die For The Hype,” YUNGBLUD’s wide range of influences are apparent through the entire album with few tracks sounding the same.  He uses this to his advantage and created his own brand of genre bending tracks including the album title track, “21st Century Liability” which draws influence from early 90s hip hop drum loops, crunchy grunge rock guitars, and enough angst to power a whole city.

YUNGBLUD just dropped a music video for his latest single, “Medication” directed by Adam Powell and takes a wild medicated trip.  Watch the video below!
