We had the chance to sit down with Adam, Jack and Ryan Met of AJR before their headlining show in Philadelphia last week. The guys shared everything from their pre-concert rituals to which artist they’d “fangirl” over if they met.
Their single “I’m Ready” has been climbing the charts, and is sure to be one of the biggest hits of the summer! You can catch AJR at radio festivals across the US, and on tour with Lindsey Stirling this summer. Check out all the dates here and be sure to get a copy of the “I’m Ready” EP before the show so you can sing along!
In the meantime, watch our interview below and get to know more about Adam, Jack and Ryan!
We’re just two weeks away from the release of Hunter Hayes’ new album, “Storyline!” In anticipation of the release, Hunter released another track off the album, “You Think You Know Somebody,” along with a live performance video.
If you’ve already pre-ordered “Storyline,” you’ll get the track instantly! You can also buy the track as a single, if you’d rather wait for the physical album.
We are finally catching the “We Are Not Invisible” Tour next weekend with Hunter and Dan + Shay, and cannot wait to hear this song live! “Storyline” is one of our most anticipated albums of 2014, and we’ve been impatiently waiting to see Hunter again live after an outstanding show at Webster Hall last year for the release of “Encore.”
It’s no secret that we are huge fans of Dan + Shay, and have been impatiently waiting to finally see them on Hunter Hayes’ “We Are Not Invisible Tour” in May! We’ve had their debut album, “Where It All Began,” on repeat since it was released, and they have the perfect sound for an outdoor summer concert. Their single, “19 You + Me” just went gold this week!
They’ll be on tour with Hunter Hayes and Blake Shelton this summer, and have a few festival dates as well. Check out all of Dan + Shay’s upcoming tour dates below!
Now what do we have to do to get them to have a headlining show in NYC?
You can also meet Dan + Shay at most shows, either by getting a “Dan + Shay + You” VIP experience, or at a signing post show. Be sure to follow Dan + Shay on Twitter for the location! Fangirl Tip: If you bring or buy a copy of their album, you can go to the front of the line.

We were sad when we found out Gregg Sulkin wouldn’t be returning to “Pretty Little Liars,” but at least it was because he was busy filming a new series, “Faking It.” The show premieres tonight on MTV!
We’ve been fans of Gregg since his appearance in the iconic “Pass the Plate” series on Disney Channel. “Nothing warms your tum like soup made by your mum!” And of course his role as Selena Gomez’s werewolf/boyfriend on “Wizards of Waverly Place.”
If you’re in NYC, Gregg Sulkin will be doing a meet & greet at Planet Hollywood in Times Square today at 5pm! Check Gregg’s Twitter for more updates. We’d love to go and ask if he has any spinach soup, but we’ll be seeing Jackson Guthy and 5SOS a couple of blocks away!
Check out the trailer for “Faking It” below & be sure to watch on MTV tonight at 10:30pm!
After a great weekend, we always get a serious case of the Mondays. At least we have “Dancing With the Stars” to look forward to! And by “Dancing With the Stars” we mean “James Maslow.”
We always knew how talented and hilarious James is, thanks to his part in Big Time Rush, but he’s proved week after week on DWTS that he has the talent, passion and drive (not to mention the voting power of the fan girls) to bring home the mirrorball trophy. He’s consistently improved and raised the bar week after week, even scoring a rare perfect score for his contemporary dance to “Let it Go” last week.
Check out some of our favorite Maslow dances below.
The Tango:
The Jive:
The Salsa:
And let’s not forget where it all started: Big Time Rush, whom we credit for bringing boy bands back in fashion, are one of the few LEGIT boy bands out there. As in they actually dance. Check out some of our favorite moves below. (BTR keep saying “it ain’t over” … we’re hoping for just one more tour?)
Be sure to follow James on Twitter & tune into “Dancing With the Stars” tonight at 8 on ABC!
The wait is finally over! Pre-orders are now live for Austin Mahone’s debut album, “The Secret!” The album, one of our most anticipated of the year, is due on May 27th, but you can download the tracks “MMM YEAH” and “Till I Find You” now!
We’re so excited to finally have a studio version of “Till I Find You,” which we were instantly singing along to the first time we heard it on the Artist to Watch Tour. We love the 90s pop sound of this song – perfect for the one man boyband Austin Mahone!
“The Secret” Tracklisting
1. Till I Find You
2. Next to You
3. MMM YEAH ft Pitbull
4. Secret
5. Can’t Fight This Love
6. All I Ever Need
7. The One I’ve Waited For
8. Shadow

Are you ready for AJR? The band, comprised of brothers Adam, Jack and Ryan Met, has quickly gained momentum since their single “I’m Ready” was released last fall. The video recently passed 1 million views on Youtube! The song has since entered radio rotation around the country, and doesn’t look like it’s slowing down any time soon. It’s impossible to hear this song and not clap along!
The brothers stopped by Saturday Night Online over the weekend to officially premiere the single and to answer a few fan questions. When we heard “I’m Ready” on the radio for the first time last week, we had a total That Thing You Do moment! (Shout out to 106.1 BLI for the AJR love!)
AJR will be playing the 106.1 BLI Summer Jam with artists like Austin Mahone, Jason Derulo, and Cody Simpson on June 1st at Nikon Jones Beach Theatre, as well as a few other radio shows around the country. You can also see AJR opening for Lindsey Stirling on her summer tour! Check out all the dates below!

While we admittedly don’t go to as many Broadway shows as we’d like, there are always a few can’t-miss shows each year!
First is Daniel Radcliffe in “The Cripple of Inishmaan,” which is currently in previews. We were majorly impressed with Daniel in both “How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” and “Equus,” and are so excited to see him back on Broadway! You can tell he loves it, too – he always gives a passionate performance, feeding off the crowd’s energy. While it’s difficult for some to make the leap from film to theatre, you can tell Dan is truly a theatre actor – he’s most in his element and it’s wonderful to see. “The Cripple of Inishmaan” received rave reviews during its London run last year, and we’re looking forward to seeing this dark comedy! (Although full disclosure, we’d go see Daniel Radcliffe in any play or musical he signs up for.)
Tickets for “The Cripple of Inishmaan” are on sale now! The play has a strict 14-week run, so don’t miss your chance to catch one of Broadway’s best.
The Hollywood Reporter announced last week that Michael Cera will be making his Broadway debut this fall, in “This Is Our Youth.” The revival of the 1966 play will also star Kieran Culkin and teenage fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson, of Rookie. Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij will compose original music for the show! We’re big Michael Cera fans over here, from his days as George Michael Bluth and movies like “Superbad” and “Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist,” and are looking forward to seeing him on stage.
The play was a great success in a previous London run, where the cast featured actors such as Hayden Christensen, Freddie Prinze Jr, Colin Hanks and Jake Gyllenhaal.
“This Is Our Youth” will open on September 11th at New York’s Cort Theatre with a limited 20-week run. Previews start on August 18th. Stay tuned for ticket info!
Haven’t you always wanted to ask an artist the story behind your favorite song? Dan + Shay released the newest addition in their “Story + Song” series, and explained the surprising inspiration for the title of “Stop Drop + Roll.” Goes to show that inspiration can strike anywhere, anytime!
Watch the clip below!

One of our songs of the summer is guaranteed to be the catchy single, “Surfboard” by Cody Simpson. We love the retro intro that melts into the r&b chorus. The video is out just in time for summer and we can’t be more excited! Watch the official video below!
It’s a shame that Cody Simpson got sent home this week on DWTS! He was just too good for the competition. We were hoping for a final dance-off between former tour mates James Maslow & Cody Simpson!
We can’t wait to see Cody this summer at the BLI Summer Jam at Jones Beach! Tickets are on sale now!
