NYC’s THE HEYDAZE are one to lookout for in 2015. Since forming earlier this year, they’ve opened for Jesse McCartney and Timeflies, and had a sold out headlining show at Webster Hall. The band crafts extremely catchy, feel good pop music that anyone can enjoy – the kind of music you want to play driving around with the windows down and the stereo up, singing along at the top of your lungs.
Their music is a collaborative effort between members Jesse Fink (vocals and guitar), Andrew Spelman (lead guitar), Alexander Glantz (drums), and Andrew Underberg (keyboard and production). The band has a gift for writing hooks, and songs infused with playful, tongue-in-cheek lyrics (See “Adderall,” “Don Juan,” etc.)
We sat down with THE HEYDAZE at Webster Hall before their last stop on Timeflies’ After Hours Tour and talked about everything from how they met to what music they grew up listening to. The band is just as fun as their music. Watch our interview below!
You can see THE HEYDAZE in NYC at Gramercy Theatre on December 19th! Trust us, you don’t want to miss this. Get your tickets now!

While THE HEYDAZE are a relatively new band, their catchy melodies and lyrical puns have led to prime opening spots on Jesse McCartney’s In Technicolor Tour over the summer, and they’ll be joining Timeflies’ After Hours Tour this week. They’re definitely an artist to look out for in 2015, and hey don’t you want to be able to say you were at one of their first headlining shows before they blew up?
Listen to their latest single, “Don Juan,” below and head over to their Facebook
page for some free jams. Stay tuned for the music video, which the band recently filmed in LA.
NYC’s THE HEYDAZE just released their brand new song “Don Juan!” The track explores the lifestyle of the legendary stud. While THE HEYDAZE haven’t been around for that long (their first show as a band was back in April), they’ve already proven themselves to be masters of crafting catchy, playful tunes, with a penchant for lyrical puns. Just like all of their songs, the melody gets stuck in your head and you find yourself singing it at the most inopportune times. But you keep playing it again because it’s just that good!
Listen to “Don Juan” below on SoundCloud.
You can catch THE HEYDAZE on tour this Fall with Timeflies. Check out all of the dates HERE! “Like” THE HEYDAZE on Facebook for more music from the band for free! Or if free music isn’t your thing, you can download from iTunes as well.

NYC’s THE HEYDAZE just announced they will be joining Timeflies on tour this Fall! If you’re not familiar with them yet, then trust us: this is a band you need to know. After having their first show, ever, back in April, they’ve already sold out NYC’s Webster Hall and scored an opening spot on the In Technicolor Tour with Jesse McCartney. They were also a part of the iHeartRadio & Macy’s Rising Star Contest. We love their acoustic-driven, catchy pop sound, and their knack for lyrical puns. If you’re into the whole “driving around in the car with the top down, loving life kind of thing” then THE HEYDAZE are the band for you.
Listen to their ode to summer, “Arnold Palmer,” below!

We’ve been to a lot of shows in the past week, and after a good concert a song will stick with you for days. Here are the songs we can’t get out of our heads after seeing them live. All of these artists are on tour now, so be sure to check out when they’re coming to your town!
1. Rixton – “Wait On Me“
We love the Ace of Base vibes of this track. (did we just age ourselves?) Rixton put on a very solid show at Irving Plaza, impressing us with their musicianship, stage presence, and fan boys. You can catch them on the Broken Heart Tour across the US this summer.
2. Jesse McCartney – “Punch Drunk Recreation“
If you saw JMAC in the Lifetime movie “Escaping Amish,” then you’ll recognize this track as the song his DJ character is playing the moment A.J. Michalka falls in love with him. And who wouldn’t with this beat? Check out the dates for the In Technicolor Tour here.
3. THE HEYDAZE – “Adderall“
There’s nothing we love more than a bad (good) pun. Especially in this cleverly crafted pop song by NYC’s THE HEYDAZE. See them on The In Technicolor Tour with JMAC through August 23rd!
4. Patent Pending – “Hey Mario”
Patent Pending’s American Meltdown Tour just wrapped up, & they’ll be hitting the UK & Germany later this Fall. The band are unleashing the Mario & The Brick Breakers documentary soon which we’re sure will have us in stitches like their “Twilight” remake did in 2010 (and still does today). Make sure you have your copy of the Mario & The Brick Breakers “Greatest Hits EP” on iTunes US and iTunes UK now!
5. MKTO – “Forever Until Tomorrow“
We still can’t get over how great Tony Oller sounded, even when battling laryngitis. Surely it helped that MKTO has songs that are fun to sing along to, like this one. The American Dream Tour wraps up this weekend and they’ll be joining Demi Lovato on tour this Fall!
Bonus: Tiffany Houghton – “Band Boy”
Because this is our theme song, and she totally rocked on the American Dream Tour.
NYC’s THE HEYDAZE just released a new track, and it’s the perfect addition to your summer playlist. We tested this song while we were on vacation and it’s Secret Fangirls approved for driving around with the windows down sippin’ sweet tea. Listen to “Arnold Palmer” below!
You can download “Arnold Palmer” and other tracks on THE HEYDAZE’s Facebook page – for free!
They’ll be joining Jesse McCartney on the In Technicolor Tour starting tonight for the East Coast & Midwest dates. See where THE HEYDAZE will be stopping below!
