Big Time Rush Announce World Tour 2014

Our favorite boy band, Big Time Rush, recently announced they will be heading out on a World Tour in 2014.   Dates have been announced so far in Texas and South America, with more dates to come.

We’ve been lucky to see BTR a few times, and their live show does not disappoint.  From their non-Nick approved dance moves and strong vocals, to their fun personalities on stage (and have we mentioned they are CUTE!), a BTR show is one big dance party.  The guys like to get up close and personal with their fans (even inviting a girl or four to join them on stage), so don’t miss your chance to see them!  VIP packages are being offered as well, and if you have the opportunity to meet the guys, do!  They are always super sweet and kind to their fans. (and CUTE!)

Austin Mahone Z100 New York Jingle Ball

Last night, Austin Mahone performed at Z100’s Jingle Ball to a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden.

The “Banga! Banga!” singer wowed in a holographic suit that *NSYNC would have been proud of.  We can’t wait for his debut album, which he says has influences of 90’s boy bands like *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys.  (We don’t call him the one man boy band for nothing!)

It was Austin’s first performance at MSG, and we are sure we’ll be seeing him there again in the future.

Check out the full Z100 Jingle Ball Gallery for more from your favorite performers.

Ariana and the Rose – “Heartbeat”

Earlier this month, we caught Ariana and the Rose opening for Heffron Drive.   The New York-based group has a fun electro-pop sound, and lead singer Ariana DiLorenzo has some serious pipes.   Their mash-up of “Wrecking Ball,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” and “Summertime Sadness” blew us away.

Check out the video for their new single, “Heartbeat.

12 Days of Christmas Music

It’s just 12 days until Christmas, which means every radio station, department store, and Duane Reade have been playing the same 5 holiday songs since November.   Need a break from Taylor Swift’s version of “Last Christmas”?  (we love this song too .. the first 5 times we hear it).  Here are some of our favorite holiday songs.

NSYNC – Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays (aka the greatest holiday video of all time)

Death Cab – Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)

Mariah Carey – All I Want For Christmas Is You (Because really, can anyone get sick of this song?)

We are all fangirls at heart.
